Visiting from out of town. Great experience. Steak and cheese on a gf roll that held up! Cole slaw made by mom was fantastic! Also gf cookie, brownie and beer available. Excellent.

Fabulous place! Delicious GF rolls ($4 extra) and cheesesteaks. About $15 per cheesesteak. Well worth it! GF brownies and cookies available. š

No pricing on menu. Expensive is a relative term for everyone, so I’ll say that it was $55 for two GF cheesesteaks, two drinks, and one potato salad. All of which were good, but we might have split a sandwich if we had known how much they cost, since neither of us finished ours. That said, they are good. The seeded GF rolls are pretty good. The potato salad is a coleslaw-potato hybrid and absolutely delicious.

My go-to for a gf hoagie. A bit pricey, but they do not skimp on the sandwich meats, and the gf roll actually holds up. They are very gluten aware and offer a few gf sides as well as packaged gf brownies and cookies.

We recently tried the cheesesteaks at Campo's Philly Cheesesteaks, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The cheesesteaks themselves were delicious, with tender meat and perfectly melted cheese. However, I was disappointed that they don't list their prices on the menu. It was a bit unsettling to find out the price only after it was rung up at the counter. While the taste was satisfying, the lack of transparent pricing left me feeling unsure about the overall value of the meal. The gluten-free bun, 8” was the only size offered for GF and regular buns. The GF bun was ok and normal, dry and crumbly. My wife didn’t get sick and like I said it tasted ok. There are better options out there in Philly for Gluten-free Cheesesteaks, like Jays Hoagies which I have given a review on. See my pictures of the cheesesteaks and the bill.

Called ahead to see if they could prepare food GF. I had a chicken cheesesteak on a gluten free roll which was delicious. They also had prepackaged GF chocolate chip cookies!

Was busy when we went in, had to ask twice to take allergy precautions, didn’t seem to care too much about cross contamination. GF roll and steak meat were just ok.

Great chicken cheese steak on a good gf roll. Had the Godfather, broccoli rabe, onions, roasted red peppers and an excellent sharp provolone! Made fresh to order! The flat top was just cleaned and they took care when assembling my sandwich. They have gf rolls and most of their sandwiches can be made gf but they don’t have a separate gf menu- if is a sandwich shop so I didn’t expect one.

Not good. The bread taste like cardboard and the meat has absolutely no flavor at all. So sad that we picked this as our last cheesesteak stop on our trip. Sonny’s a few doors down is way better.

The staff is awesome. We have 4 GF people and two with casein allergies. They accommodated us with both options and made awesome cheesesteaks. They also have Daura beers for gluten reduced. They are a great location and great people. Lots of vegan options as well.

They change gloves and take precautions if you let them know you are celiac when ordering. They are definitely used to preparing GF sandwices, many people around us ordered them too. GF cheesesteaks, potato salad, coleslaw, rice pudding and a few more! Great experience :)

Campo’s can make any of their Philly cheesesteaks on gluten free bread. The bread never touches the grill - the meat and cheese are put onto the bread at the end. Huge sandwich too!! Highly recommend for authentic Philly food!!

Great tasting bun that stayed together! I got the Works beef cheesesteak on the gluten free bun. They said they also had gf cookies, gf beer, and homemade gf potato salad & coleslaw that I did not try. The location is ideal since they are close to Independence Hall.

I was really excited to try my first cheese steak, but unfortunately got badly glutened. Didn't eat anything else, so must have been from cross contamination. I also agree with Alanna that it was poorly seasoned and overpriced. Had great reviews, so not sure what happened.

I got a cheesesteak made gluten free AND dairy free (they have gluten free vegan cheese!!!). Let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Literally the best thing I’ve ever had! I would go back to Philadelphia just to have it again. The cashier was SOO helpful and made sure she got my whole order right. It was the best sandwhich I’ve ever had- and I didn’t get sick after!

We came in from California for a few days and of course felt compelled to try a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Using GF Around Me, we decided to try Campos. It was beyond delicious! A local baker makes their GF cheesesteak buns for them!!! My husband tried mine and could not tell it was GF. They make their own potato salad and coleslaw too- both delicious and GF. Their meats are high quality ; Dietz & Watson. The cashier who took my order was very well versed re gluten. I didn’t watch my order being prepared, but I didn’t get sick, which I normally do when exposed to gluten directly or through cross contamination. Their food was soooo good we went back a second time.

Though I’m not sure how good the wheat segregation is, the GF bun was incredible and worth the up charge for once. My oldest son has Celiac, but isn’t overly sensitive, but no reaction.

Yummy! My 11 year older son has celiac and wanted a “burger”, we wanted cheesesteaks (my husband has celiac). The person taking our order (she said her mom makes the potato salad and coleslaw) heard my sons request and offered a burger cut in half on in a GF hoagie roll. All were happy here!!

Delicious authentic Philly Cheesesteak! We were so excited to be able to get this classic on our trip. They also had packaged GF desserts, and amazing GF potato salad. Family owned. Familiar with celiac and took precautions for us. We didn’t get sick— and we are very sensitive.

Their gf steaks and sandwhiches are really good. 10/10 reccomend
Bland cheesesteak— especially for the price when adding a gluten free bun. No way to avoid cross contamination due to only one grill. Bun is warmed on the grill. Ended up getting sick from eating here.

The most amazing gluten free cheese steak. Very knowledgeable, Service was fantastic, food even better. Don’t try anywhere else!!
Yes
Excellent! They made sure my cheesesteak was cooked separately and wrapped up instead of put in a basket. The bread is from a local gluten free bakery and was so delicious, I was so happy and felt at ease. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to Philly!!
My son was so excited to have a gfree Philly cheesesteak ! He chose the BBQ version (which they showed me the container of Kraft BBQ sauce that they use which is gfree). They use a round gfree bun and go to the back to make gfree sandwiches to keep them separate! Delicious and safe. Happy!!
I had a cheesesteak on a GF bun and it was delicious!
It is nice to have a place to go where I can get a gluten free bun and feel like everyone else.
Good food and good gf buns! The bun was circular and from a local bakery. They took ‘allergy’ precautions and everything was safe to eat!
Yes
GF bun was ok and I didn’t get sick but the meat was extremely bland and flavorless. My kids got a hotdog that came on an old/stale hamburger bun and a Mac and cheese that, again, lacked flavor.
My husband got a cheesesteak from Sonny’s and raved, he tried a pice of the steak from mine - no comparison, Sonny’s wins.
Just ok. Gluten free bread was ehh but the steak meat was good. Prices kinda crazy, very over priced and small sandwiches is what you get for $27.00 Oh sorry that's right we also got 2 fountain sodas. Gluten free roll is a round roll, so if your thinking long sub roll forget it. We won't try them again but stay tuned for more of my reviews of some other of Phillys Gluten free restaurants.
PS they did make sure my sandwich was not cross contaminated so kudos for that.
Yes
Gluten free bun was hard frozen š
Didn’t have gluten free bread, made me a sandwich on a lettuce bed. Cash only. Was looking for a Philly cheesesteak and we went here over Sonny’s up the street because it was so crowded- should have taken the hint from everyone else eating at Sonny’s!
Everything was cross contaminated. Attendant was inpatient. Out of gluten free buns, but offered to put it in ramen!?! ended up just getting it thrown in a bowl, but charge same price as they would with a bun. very disappointed.
