Their gf steaks and sandwhiches are really good. 10/10 reccomend
Bland cheesesteak— especially for the price when adding a gluten free bun. No way to avoid cross contamination due to only one grill. Bun is warmed on the grill. Ended up getting sick from eating here.
The most amazing gluten free cheese steak. Very knowledgeable, Service was fantastic, food even better. Don’t try anywhere else!!
Excellent! They made sure my cheesesteak was cooked separately and wrapped up instead of put in a basket. The bread is from a local gluten free bakery and was so delicious, I was so happy and felt at ease. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to Philly!!
Bread isn’t great, but okay. I wouldn’t bet that its complete cross contamination free
Edit-they have changed their rolls to seeded and bigger and they are WAY better. Order from here regularly
My son was so excited to have a gfree Philly cheesesteak ! He chose the BBQ version (which they showed me the container of Kraft BBQ sauce that they use which is gfree). They use a round gfree bun and go to the back to make gfree sandwiches to keep them separate! Delicious and safe. Happy!!
I had a cheesesteak on a GF bun and it was delicious!
It is nice to have a place to go where I can get a gluten free bun and feel like everyone else.
Good food and good gf buns! The bun was circular and from a local bakery. They took ‘allergy’ precautions and everything was safe to eat!
GF bun was ok and I didn’t get sick but the meat was extremely bland and flavorless. My kids got a hotdog that came on an old/stale hamburger bun and a Mac and cheese that, again, lacked flavor.
My husband got a cheesesteak from Sonny’s and raved, he tried a pice of the steak from mine - no comparison, Sonny’s wins.
Just ok. Gluten free bread was ehh but the steak meat was good. Prices kinda crazy, very over priced and small sandwiches is what you get for $27.00 Oh sorry that's right we also got 2 fountain sodas. Gluten free roll is a round roll, so if your thinking long sub roll forget it. We won't try them again but stay tuned for more of my reviews of some other of Phillys Gluten free restaurants.
PS they did make sure my sandwich was not cross contaminated so kudos for that.
Gluten free bun was hard frozen 🙄
Didn’t have gluten free bread, made me a sandwich on a lettuce bed. Cash only. Was looking for a Philly cheesesteak and we went here over Sonny’s up the street because it was so crowded- should have taken the hint from everyone else eating at Sonny’s!
Everything was cross contaminated. Attendant was inpatient. Out of gluten free buns, but offered to put it in ramen!?! ended up just getting it thrown in a bowl, but charge same price as they would with a bun. very disappointed.
cook touch by gluten free bun right after handling other buns, even after I told them I had gluten allergy. also sandwich cut with same knife as other sandwiches, I asked if they used different knife and was told yes, even though I saw him cut both sandwiches with same knife
The best cheesesteak in Philly! They are very aware and accommodating of cross-contamination.
Delicious GF cheesesteak! They had run out of GF buns just before I got there, but they put it on a bed of lettuce and it was just as good. I had no problems with contamination and did not get sick.
Yep! GF cheesesteaks They are good, and I didn't get sick at all I recommend them!
Just had a breakfast sandwich on a really tasty gfdf roll. didn't need to be toasted, staff was accommodating about making eggs with no dairy. They also have a book with ingredients. Can't speak to after effects yet, but seems likely there was no cross contamination since I watched the prep.
yummy gf philly cheesesteak!
GO HERE! The GF buns are amazing!
Cheesesteak with gf bun and coleslaw...awesome! They know their stuff!
Amazingly delicious. I called ahead to ask if they prevented cross contamination (as I'm Celiac). Mike assured me it would be no problem and even called me back 5 minutes later to let me know they were out of GF buns but would have some back in at 4pm. When I arrived, Mike wasn't there and the staff was not aware of how to cook to avoid a gluten allergy. In fact, one of the cooks got REALLY angry. He cashier understood and was correcting him and he got very angry. The only thing that saved me was saying the Mike said it was doable. I watched them prepare it and I don't expect a problem (they cleaned the grill for me!!)
absolutely delicious! Probably the best sandwich I've had anywhere! The cheese steak was huge as well and left me completely stuffed!
Gluten Free Philly Cheese Steak was great. They had GF buns and didn't skimp on the meat.
