I was a little scared due to the previous reviewer experience ,but I’ve had no problem. I admit I’ve only had a gluten free bagel with cream cheese scallion and lox (why change when you like it so much and won’t be in NY again for years) 3 days in a row with no sickness. They wrap the bagel in paper before toasting so no worries with cross contamination from there. Bagels so much nicer than New Zealand offerings I’ve found.
First day there was a young guy who seemed a little unsure of himself (asked me if I wanted a sesame bagel after I said GF) He was set straight faster by the two older guys behind counter with what was what regarding GF than I could answer. Since diagnosis I find my ability to have “the conversation “ with staff about “yes I really can’t share a deep fat fryer that has bread crumbs” in it easier and easier so I recommend just talk to these guys as they are very helpful and friendly.

There are no gluten free bagels/bread options and the staff is not very knowledgeable. I was offered a vegan banana bread when I asked about gluten free options. Seems like a great place but not for GF!
No
When I came here they had Gluten Free Bagels but only plain bagels. Not too impressive but good for a breakfast sandwich.
Very tasty and knowledgeable and helpful owners if you ASK!
Yes
I get sandwiches and bagels here everyday and have never had a problem. Usman is the main guy working the counter, and he's friendly and considerate.
