My celiac daughter’s favorite restaurant ever! She loves the mini tacos!
Excellent meal. Manager very knowledgeable about gluten. We ate there every day of our stay in Branson.
We dined outside by the water in front of the water, light show. Our three boys each enjoyed their meals, husband loved his chimi, and I ordered the barbacoa tacos. Yummy and totally safe :-) - chips and delicious salsa also. Very thankful.
Our waiter was very educated and familiar with gluten free. The food was amazing and there was a large amount of options for kids and adults! All around amazing!
I had the brisket tacos, rice and black beans, and they were wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I usually feel sick after eating Mexican even if it is gluten free, and I did not have any side effects after eating here. It was wonderful!!
Food was good. Gluten Free knowledgeable! Loved the patio dining.
LOVE it! I had the brisket tacos with rice and also an order of the cheese dip. absolutely amazing!!
fabulous food. I had the mahi mahi tacos grilled. they were amazing. salsa was done of the best I've ever had, chips are gluten free as well. so very good.
Our first waiter did not know so without us asking we got a new waitress. She was great! They do have a dedicated fryer for there chips. Always a bonus! And the food was great.!
Very good. Great wait staff. They assured me that they could accommodate my needs. Can't wait to go back. Very Celiac friendly
Great job by manager and Diane our waitress to find us gluten free and onion free. Everything was so fresh.
This place was fabulous! One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. Lots of GF options, plus vegetarian and a couple vegan options too--which was a plus for me. Our waitress was very knowledgeable which is always reassuring when you need to eat GF.
Food is excellent but staff are not trained. Three staff told me "they believed" the chips and salsa were GF. When I said I needed to know for sure they said chips were, only 1 sauce was.
My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time last weekend after finding it on Find Me Gluten Free. It was AMAZING. Their menu was very easy to read and our waitress was helpful. They have several gluten free options clearly listed on their menu. I highly recommend Cantina Laredo and cannot wait to go back!
Love it ;) We always go here when we go to Branson on the Landing. Our favorite place to be!
Delicious and creative gluten free food! It was a nice treat to eat a meal with variety & wonderful flavor!! I had the artichoke & avocado enchiladas. Chips & salsa are gluten free. Definitely recommend!
Quite a few menu items marked GF on menu. The chicken fajitas were very good, but the refried beans and flour tortillas served with it were not GF. When I questioned it, they brought out corn tortillas and offered a side dish of black beans (I was charged for these). Chips and salsa (mild only) are GF. Excellent food, but I did have a reaction to it; possibly from picking up the tortillas.
Chips, queso, guacamole...all yummy and many GF options.
Awesome!! The menu has the GF options marked. Had the guac made fresh at your table. Tried something new per the servers recommendation, avocado and artichoke enchiladas and they were so yummy! Seriously the BEST meal I've had in a long time!! I would give six stars if I could!!
Very stressful at first to order. But in the end the food was amazing! I got a salad!
staff was great. Knew exactly what would be an issue. I react very badly to the slightest gluten but I was fine with tacos de barbacoa and de pollo. flan for dessert. Food was fantastic. Real treat to eat out. Rarely do anymore...
Fabulous. gf items noted on menu.
Great place to come and eat! The general menu denotes gluten free items with a triangle. They also have flan that is gluten free for dessert.
I had delicious tacos that were marked as gluten free. I was a little disappointed that my old favorite dish (before I was diagnosed with Celiacs disease) was not marked as gluten free and the server said the chef didn’t know what had gluten in it so I couldn’t modify it. Service was slower than usual, but an overall good experience.
2nd visit in 6weeks. TOP SHELF GUACAMOLE is made table side and is unbelievable! Had the pescado (mahi-mahi) fish tacos that were recommended by waiter and they were fantastic. Also had the chipotle chicken fajitas with corn tortillas on 2nd visit and were amazing flavors!
We walked up & asked if any gluten free items on the menu & were told yes. The Executive Chef told us they have a dedicated fryer for the chips & even if not marked GF on menu they would work to make it GF for you. Loved the Taco’s & Barbacoa’s. We will come back.
Dedicated area so no cross contamination. Very knowledgeable staff
We chose this restaurant to eat something before going to see a show. Nice location, friendly, helpful staff and acknowledge on what is being celiac. On the menu you will find a (G) for Gluten Free, wish we had time to try more. Probably will be back next time in the area.
absolutely wonderful! the chicken fajitas were melting in my mouth. I wish I had this restaurant in my area. awesome gluten-free menu
Not many options, BUT they DO have gluten free meals on the menu! Recruited beans are also gf.
Separate GF menu, many choices. 5 stars for being knowledgeable and for convenient Soho location. 4 stars for food. It's good. Went with my daughter (a sensitive celiac) who didn't get sick. A block from the Palace Theater where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is playing.
Tamales, carnitas, delicious!
Menu items are clearly marked if they can be made gluten-free. Chips are also gluten-free. I had the fish tacos which were delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Mexican food.
The hostess and our server were very knowledgeable about gluten free needs. Our food was delicious and came out correctly the first time. The kitchen is also willing to accommodate any meal to make it gluten free if able. side note... the mango is amazing!!
They started frying another item that contains flour with the chips. No chips, but main dishes are safe:)
Very sensitive celiac. Ate at Cantina Laredo while visiting Shreveport. Apparently new servers were not aware of the GF options, but they spoke with manager who came over and reviewed the menu with us. Excellent chips and variety of salsa to start and then tacos. All was excellent and no ill effects
Best gluten free and celiac safe Mexican cuisine in the area! Staff is very helpful, and the food was delicious! No issues at all, and I have celiac. Will definitely be back again!
Delicious and GF safe. Staff very knowledgeable and accommodating. Many options for GF eaters and vegetarians. Quite impressed by whole experience.
The server was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a dedicated fryer and he said he'd notify the cooks to change their gloves for me. I've been to this restaurant many times over the years, pre and post celiac diagnosis. The service and atmosphere are great, and I love that you can clearly identify the gluten free options right on their regular menu. I had no cross contamination issues and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Went here for lunch yesterday and got the chicken fajitas and it worked out great. I have celiac. Chips are safe.
I've eaten here twice and had a great experience both times. The staff is knowledgeable about cross contamination and very accommodating. The food is a little more upscale than your standard Mexican, but the prices are still reasonable and the food is great! I could make a meal off the chips and salsa alone. Plus, they have plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend!
Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful staff about x contamination from server to chef to manager. Food is outstanding! Fresh and flavorful. Their motto is upscale Mexican but prices are very reasonable. You'll find everything from appetizers to dessert available as GF. They'll even create GF options if you ask.
Items are clearly marked when gf. Ate the chips and cheese dip plus a gluten free chicken dish with corn tortillas. Delicious and no issues :-) went to taco Tuesday last week 10/25/16 and it was sooo delicious and not bad on price. Waitress was knowledgeable and said staff would change pans and gloves. I did not get sick and I had the chips too. I do have celiac.
Unbelievable the service and food was amazing. The chef came over and apologized that the chips weren't gluten free I told him sincerely no problem. Still he came back a little later with chips he baked them. And the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas were wonderful
This restaurant is pretty much overpriced Mexican food that is just ok. The chips and salsa were awesome, but the meal itself was just ok. I got chicken tacos, and the salsa/guacamole topping was fresh and delicious, but the chicken was overcooked and tough. The beans and rice were both so salty that they were inedible, and I like salty food. The servers won't try to prevent cross contamination unless you specify that you really need it.
The staff was not familiar with cross contamination issues (i.e it took me asking 3 staff plus a manager to find out if the chips were fried with the other fried items). They also took no concern when I expressed my food allergies to them. Service was extremely SLOW and food was way over priced.
Our waiter A. J. took time to ask kitchen staff about ingredients so I would not have a reaction. Yes, menu is meat heavy for Celiacs, which sucks for me as CD and a vegetarian, but the 1 vegetarian GF item, avocado and artichoke enchiladas, were o.k. The only GF enchilada sauce is the tomatillo sauce which is really sour. Tried a margarita. Bartender was really on his game and knew the triple sec was not GF. Tried the mango margarita anyway, but was disappointed as it was really bitter without the triple sec. Even the guacamole has too much lime juice making it sour too. I agree with previous posts that it is really expensive for what we get on the GF menu.
Just went here over the weekend and had a great experience! The chips and salsa are so delicious. I don't eat meat, and I usually end up with the same meal at most Mexican restaurants (veggie fajitas). But they have a gf and vegetarian item on their menu and it was amazing! Loved that I could get something different, and that everything on the menu was labeled whether it was gf or not.
Expensive for the amount of gluten free options on the menu. Everything is marked on the menu but the only meat that is gluten free is the chicken. Chips & salsa are gluten free and delicious. I have Celiac Disease and enjoyed the food; just be wary of the cost.
