Had dinner at this location a few weeks ago. It was good, but if you’re looking for seafood, the gluten free options are severely lacking. The offerings that they did have were pretty standard, but there were also a few items that could be requested off-menu. The waitress offered for me to speak with a chef and be walked through the buffet, which was nice.
Cross contamination seems to be a bigger issue in this location than in other Disney buffets. The buffet was really crowded and I noticed guests using the same spoon for multiple dishes (big CC red flag).
Gf bread was also hard and burnt 🥲
Seafood buffet on a rainy day. Pretty standard offerings. They have an allergen guide but asked if we wanted to talk to the chef. The chef was more than gracious and generous. He brought out a ton of food and desserts from the kitchen for our celiac kid and made him feel extra special and taken care of. Disney hospitality!
Ask for Chef Sean! He will walk you through the menu and prepare your food from scratch!
Had a character breakfast here (which are buffet style :/)! But tell your waiter that you have an allergy and they will send the chef out to make you food without cross contamination! The chef was very nice and made us a huge gf plate with everything we wanted! Delicious gf Mickey waffles! I have celiac and did not have any reaction here :)
This was the BEST dining experience I’ve ever had at Disney. Our server was wonderful! When she heard I had Celiac she went and had Chef Sean come and talk with me. Please ask for Sean if you are dining here! He went over all the options with me then personally prepared my food - from scratch - in the back kitchen so that it was never near the buffet and was not subject to cross-contamination! HE COOKED ME SO MUCH FOOD! I had paella, baked salmon with a Thai glaze, steamed shrimp, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. All delicious!! But the dessert!!!!! Oh my goodness! The most delicious gluten-free brownie topped with chocolate mouse, a huge chocolate chip cookie, whipped cream, and a smaller chocolate chip cookie, all covered in chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries! AMAZING! Chef Sean made my entire Disney experience magical!
They give you a little allergen list/menu and ask if you also need to see a chef. I said no. When the waited came, he was a little curt, but they were busy. I asked if I could get some GF waffles and he said ok. He seemed annoyed. I was able to eat safely, but don't expect to be treated kindly here. Honestly, I've only ever been treated nicely one time at any Disney buffet. I think the general consensus is, if you have an allergy why did you come to a buffet. Point taken. You could probably do much better at the quick service at the hotel, unless your kids want to see Mickey and Donald.
