This restaurant had so many options on the menu and all gluten free! I can’t wait to return.

Entire menu is GF which is awesome. Excellent assortment of ciders to choose from. I sat at the bar and the bartender helped me find a cider that hit the spot by tasting several options. The food is delicious and hard to believe it is GF. I had the calamari and the fish & chips. Both very tasty.

I had the fish and chips my husband had the fried chicken sandwich, they were both delicious served with fries. It was a big treat for me to have somewhat pub food that I normally never get to eat. It makes you feel normal again. The breakfast items looked amazing. I will need to try some time soon. I would also love to try something from their dinner menu . I would highly recommend trying Capitol Cider!

Super disappointed. I was SO excited to eat here. Horrible service. Took 30 minutes for someone to come to the table. 1 hour to get food. Everything’s gluten free, but they’re out of a lot of things. Broccoli was gross. Chicken dinner was delicious. Didn’t even ask for a dessert menu because we were so frustrated. Come for cider and go downstairs (21+) don’t even try to eat upstairs.

Horrible horrible horrible service. I am guessing the waiter was stoned as he was beyond oblivious as to what he was doing. Forgot to order our appetizers got us the wrong drinks and out in left field. Took us 2 hours to get in and out. Just ridiculous. Then when my mom went to the restroom she saw the kitchen door open and the cook was literally eating food off of someone's plate that was going to a table. I don't know if I could eat there again. The may be celiac friendly but not sanitary friendly.

I am celiac and have eaten here without consequences 15 or so times. I love the atmosphere and find the staff friendly. I appreciate that the food is trendy and wholesome , but doesn’t feel Like you’ve eaten at a health food store. The selection of coders is over-the-top, and they do have a bottle shop.

Holy crap this place is amazing. I live on the east coast and legitimately would consider flying back here just for this place. Went there for brunch got an amazing cinnamon roll 👌. Highly recommend. Didn’t have to worry about contamination or anything, everything in their kitchen is GF. I love craft ciders so it was also very exciting to look through their bible-sized cider menu. It was 10am so i elected not to have cider in house but picked up a couple bottles to bring home. One of the best places I’ve ever eaten. No exaggeration

Dedicated facility so entirely safe. Service was slow and food is good but a little pricey for the quality and quantity. However it is great to go somewhere that you don’t have to worry!

Hands down the best meal I ate on this latest trip. I got the ale battered fish & chips (as I've never been able to have them before) with lemon, garlic charred broccoli (was to die for!) & Snowdrift Red Apple Cider. The fish was perfectly cooked & meaty with a handmade tangy tartar sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy & the portion was so huge I was unable to finish them. I don't have much experience drinking hard apple cider, but our server (Iris) graciously guided all of us by giving small samples & asking what kinds of flavors we like or were looking for. She said the red ciders are something new the brewers are experimenting with & taste vey similar to a dry rosé wine. She was spot on with her recommendations for everyone in my party & everyone thoroughly enjoyed their night out.

We went for happy hour to save money in pricey Seattle. Great service. Food was yummy but very small portions and overpriced for what we got. Not really family friendly in terms of atmosphere, but 100% GF was a big bonus while traveling.

Not celiac safe. The food is overpriced for what you get. I was happy to pay extra thinking it was a safe meal. Had the fish and chips and less than an hour later I was running to the restroom.

Food was pretty good. Dinner for 2 took a total of 2 hours, although our server comped us 2 desserts. Overall no complaints, I was happy with the slow pace of the evening while drinking so many delicious meads, beers, wines all GF! Will definitely come back

Very poor service. It took a long time for food to come out and drinks were empty 3/4 of the time. Other than the fish and chips which weren’t perfect the food wasn’t good at all.

So I took my family here to eat. My kids and I are GF. The service was terrible. The wait for our food was so long my son started to cry. To top it off once the food came we didn’t like it! The ribs had a terrible sauce on them, the fish and chips were ok but made my stomach hurt, the chicken was ok, the calamari was soaked in oil- just disappointing.

This place is 100% GF!! So nice to know you won’t get sick. Had hush puppies ( which havnt had in about 16 yrs) and they were amazing. Also had fried cheese curds, so good. Lots of cider beers to try also. Totally recommend. Our waiter was Joshua which he was great. Really informative on different ciders.

Dedicated gluten free! Can’t beat that for a celiac. I had the Charred Broccoli first. It was good but had a lot of lemon. Was a bit too much. For the main I had Chicken Fricassee. It was good but was a bit spicy for me (I have a low tolerance for spicy foods). I should have known this. If I was staying longer in Seattle I would give Capital Cider another shot for sure. Very safe food, just wasn’t completely to my liking.

We finally were able to visit this restaurant last week. I've been wanting to go for awhile due to these awesome reviews and we were not disappointed at all. Well, the only disappointment was when we finished our food because it was so good! My GFCFSoyFree son was able to eat the fish and sticks. The rest of us had soup and sandwiches. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and french onion soup! So delicious. We ended our meal with an apple crisp, also very good. Highly recommend!

The only thing with gluten is the beer, and they only use specific taps for beer so there’s never contamination of the cider. Everything is entirely celiac safe, and the servers check for any other kinds of allergies. The food was great too! Our server, Zach, made it an especially positive experience.

All gluten free menu. I mean ALL if it. We had the French toast and fish and chips respectively. Otherwise weird combo, right? We both have celiac and were so happy to have these as options. Both were unbelievably delicious. The bloody Mary’s are special too. Great flavor and not pulpy. Service was friendly, attentive, and we will be back!

Was surprised and delighted to find a dedicated GF bar/restaurant on Capitol Hill. The menu is varied and eclectic, a. bit pricey but considering the quality and specialty of the food well worth it. I had the French Onion soup and a side of Sweet Potato Fries which were really large wedges. Both items excellent. GF and Gfull beer options. Large variety of ciders. I WILL be back for more!
