They staff are very conscious about your food allergies. I cannot eat soy, wheat, and some fresh fruits. They serve coffee with real cream. We tried the gluten free pan baked pancakes. They were amazing! I cannot say enough how much this pan cake is worth the trip and 20 minute baking process for your individual dish! However, they are not a gluten free site so be mindful if you need a clean kitchen. Note: traveling globally has revealed there are very few gluten free restaurants that have dedicated kitchen. We will definitely be back to try their gluten free French toast and waffle options.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Easily the best GF meal I’ve had in years. The French toast was to die for and almost the entire menu is GF. Ended up ordering the avocado toast, Shakespeare, eggs Benedict and hot cake. Every dish was better than the last. I also have celiac disease and had no problems after eating here.
The food is so good and the plating is stunning! It’s hard to find. It’s in an alley off the Main Street. There is a black and gray building called réfléchir Kyoto furita with a staircase on the corner of the alley, turn into that alley and walk towards the English soldier. 💖
