I told the girl on the phone I had to have gluten free wings. Gluten allergy. I get home already took a bite and realize they are wingless and look breaded. I called to ask the manager and they have gluten. I’m sick for three days. And when I ordered I told him I had two separate orders on two separate cards and I get there and they are charged on one card. I think three different people make mistakes here. The manager was nice and said she would remove the cost of one of my orders. That’s simply not enough when you’re sick for days. My throat actually swells from it. Gluten could kill some people
Do not go here. The website says that they have gluten free options, but they no longer have a gluten free menu. Our waiter wasn't knowledgeable about gluten free things and all he kept saying was they used to have gluten free things. They said they could do a plain chicken breast for my son. They also claim to have a gluten free chocolate cake. That is all he ate at dinner and is now suffering. He had a terrible reaction which kept him up all night. Plus he is feeling awful today. Do not go if you have any issues with gluten, no matter how big or small. They are not trained at this restaurant and they don't care.
I had spicy chicken and shrimp, salad with vinaigrette and food was tasty but I reacted while in restaurant-I believe due to the bread smell. Air was very aromatic with it. The food could have also been contaminated
2nd visit I had skilletinj with Italian sausage Nd GF minestrone soup. Skilletini was too oily for my taste but probably from sausage. Service was good. I was already having gluten symptoms from another meal 2 days before so do not know if any additional symptoms from this meal as symptoms have not subsided. Meal is ok but I will avoid the sausage in future.
I ordered the faux Chicken Parmesan and I was underwhelmed. All of it tasted pretty bland in my opinion. The chicken doesn’t have gf breadcrumbs and so it’s only grilled chicken with cheese and sauce on top with very little seasoning or salt in the sauce or chicken. Although I wouldn’t get it again, it’s not terrible and it would probably be good for a kid or a picky eater with it being so plain. There is a gf menu but no gf appetizers, pizza, or desserts. Waiter asked if I was celiac when I asked for the menu and made sure to tell me my dish was indeed gf when he sat it down for me.
This location frustrates me. They “sometimes” have gluten free pasta. It seems to just depend on who’s working. My server this evening went to check and see if they had the gluten free pasta today, and fortunately they did. I asked if there were any sauces or meats or anything else I could have, and he said red sauce, spicy marinara, lemon butter, or meat sauce. But no meats or proteins or anything other than the meat sauce. So I had gluten free pasta with meat sauce. It was fine. Not great, but not terrible either. Meh.
