I LOVE this place. As a lifelong Carmel resident, I was devastated at my diagnosis that I would never be able to eat out again. This place is careful, has options, has incredibly kind and understanding staff and owner. Have never been worried or had an ounce of reaction after being here. 20/10 would recommend, just let them know you have an allergy.

Had a great experience here and (despite all the reviews here) was pleasantly surprised by the care and attention to detail with gf meals. They answered all my questions and the food was absolutely delicious!

Outstanding. Dinner was garlic bread, grilled artichoke, and bolognese. Taste was unreal and my only problem afterwards was that I was too full.

Multiple GF options as well as DF, all clearly listed and server was very knowledgeable. Although the garlic bread lists only GF they were able to make it without the Parmesan and it was fabulous! GF pasta dishes were available. The chocolate torte GF was also phenomenal!

My partner and I are both non-Celiac gluten intolerant (but still very sensitive) and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here with no reaction!!

They have amazing garlic bread, flatbreads (the chicken one with awesome) and all of their pastas are available gf with fresh-frozen pasta. Going to an Italian joint when you’re gf is always a bit nerve wracking, but the owner put our mind at ease by explaining their processes (his wife is gf as well).

This place does not disappoint- if you’re in Carmel and want a tasty (and safe) dinner, I highly recommend it!

So many gf options, from gf garlic bread and pasta to main dishes, sides and desserts, there are a plethora of gf options to choose from. The staff and owner are super kind and helpful. Highly recommend — it was our favorite meal of the weekend. Can’t wait to come back!

We went here because of they clearly mark items GF and DF on their menu. I ordered the cioppino, which was tasty. That said, after promising me a plate of GF/DF garlic bread, our very nice waiter left a place of supposedly GF bread that included butter and cheese. Another waiter then came by with a plate of GF/DF bread. On the plus side, I do believe both plates of bread were GF.

We had the garlic bread, caesar salad, and flatbread, all of which were fantastic. I have Celiac Disease and the staff were very knowledgeable about what on the menu was safe and which areas were dedicated. They knew how to avoid cross contamination and kept everything safe for our party, which was fantastic. Would also highly recommend the gluten free gnocchi.

I am in absolute HEAVEN here. Earlier today I had the runs from gluten fast food and at this amazing restaurant my gastrointestinal tract seems to have really calmed down. But more importantly, the food is astonishingly delicious and there are vast numbers of options for celiac people. We are coming back here for lunch having just had dinner here, it is so good. Thank you to the reviewer who said just go here already. WE LOVE THIS PLACE! My vegetarian husband also said it is one of the best meals he has ever had, AND I AM A CIRDON BLEU TRAINED COOK!

I ordered the margarita flatbread and garlic bread appetizer. I told the waiter about my celiac and he understood. Unfortunately when my food came out i tested both items and both came back with gluten found. I told the waiter and the manager came over. He was kind and understanding but was confused with the outcome because apparently people have tested it in the past and it was okay. We left after leaving a tip and went somewhere else. Nice people and location but was not celiac safe for me.

Very nice and attentive place! The staff genuinely cared about making it a good gluten free experience for us. We sat outside on their cute patio for lunch with our little dog. We ordered the GF garlic dip and when we had gone through the first baguette, they offered to bring an additional one at no cost. I ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken added. We finished off with an espresso creme brulee. All was delicious! Everything on the menu is clearly marked with GF. Lots of GF pasta options!

Unfortunately my Nima sensor found gluten in both dishes I ordered (shrimp appetizer and paella entree). The manager came out multiple times to talk to us and was concerned because they cook everything separately according to him. He cared a lot about the quality of their gluten free food and asked me to explain how my sensor worked and said he would look into getting one. They were able to make the chocolate martini dairy free for me, and it was super tasty and pretty strong.

Omg! I trusted the reviews and I was so amazed!!! This is my new favorite place in the universe. I will now have to come back to Carmel just to come here. Gluten free garlic bread, osso bucco. Amazing. Almost everything on the menu was available gluten free. The owner came out to talk to me and assure me everything was gluten-free an to they understand cross-contamination. Everything about this dining experience was top notch. Gluten free garlic bread ( how often does a restaurant offer bread , right ?) On to appetizers and dinner-many options for me and dinners my husband would gladly share with me. The waitress, Fannie(?) was very knowledgeable about gf and cross contamination. Her husband the chef is working on making the biscotti my husband got with his afagato gf in the future. If you’re in the area this gem is a must. If we were in town longer I would’ve gone multiple times. If you’re not in the area -make a point to get there !

I was so excited to order from here, on vacation and never get to eat out in my little town. I ordered gluten free garlic bread and pasta and my boyfriend ordered regular garlic bread and his dish. They opened it when we picked it up and verified it was gluten free and labeled the box gf so we would know which was which when we got back. I should have know because it tasted to good…. They were apologetic, but that’s not going to make my night any better. I are a whole piece before I realized their mistake.

Great experience and wide variety of menu items to choose from. I was nervous about taking kids (8 and 11) but we sat outside and I noticed other young children inside. My daughters enjoyed GF garlic bread, pasta bolognese and crème brûlée. A great meal!
