They have gluten free buns, bread, and pizza crust, so there are plenty of options. However, I was aggressively questioned on "how bad" my celiac disease is and I ended up having my food come out later than the other person I was eating with and my only option for sides was coleslaw.

I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars bc my salad was great and I didn’t get sick. However this is definitely not a gluten free restaurant so I probably wouldn’t go again just for the concern that I could get sick

Had a great GF meal! They offer crab cakes, salads and pizza all gluten free, plus a gf bun for any of their sandwiches. Would definitely go back!

Gf crab cakes are reason enough to go to Carmel’s. Also, super friendly bartenders!

Fair number of gf items. Have gluten free pizza, salads and crab cakes although the waitress did not know if it was a shared fryer. Host and wait staff pretty knowledgeable and helpful. I had no problem.
