Good gluten free pizza. Crust was crispy at the edges and soft in the middle without feeling like dough. Several vegetarian options on the menu.
I asked if I could have a non-vegetarian pizza but without the meat, and the waitress asked me if I wanted to replace the meat with a vegetable of my choosing, which was nice.
I paid less than 20€ for GF pizza + a glass of wine. Went back twice during my 3 nights in Izola. Would probably have had every dinner here if it weren't closed on Mondays.
Huge disappointment. Place is nice, staff is great, but nobody would tell you that you are not getting fresh pizza dough, but semi-product pre-baked base from store. It was literally pre-baked base from store with fresh toppings on top. In pizzeria, with no warnings that they will serve semi-product and with added fee for gluten free option. I know, it is better than nothing, but when I visit pizzeria, I want fresh pizza and not Schar base or frozen Ristorante pizza. Shame.
