The waiters and kitchen staff check and informs about the menu options gluten free.
The corn tortillas now contain some wheat flour, so avoid order with tacos, nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos or fajitas.
I chose the grilled fish cooked with garlic and butter, which comes with rice, lime and vapored carrot by side. It was nice meal, fish a bit dried for my taste.
Additional comment: only cash.

Pretty good food, and I didn’t get sick. I’m celiac and very sensitive.
I spoke with the waiter who spoke decent English. Don’t get the chips since they come from a shared fryer. Don’t get al pastor, the marinade has soy sauce
I had chicken tacos and guacamole without chips. Rice and beans are safe too. Kind of pricy but decent tasting and most importantly was safe.

I was able to eat safely. They brought out corn tortillas. I had chicken. It was decent. Didn’t get sick. I didn’t eat the rice or beans. Better to be safe than sorry. It was okay. Not great.

Amazing little restaurant, two guys serve most the tourist meals. They don't say a lot but they know what they are doing. I'm very sensitive and never had a problem. I could eat the tortilla chips and fried plantains and anything fried on the grill as well. For those more adventurous or have family that have guts if they head in towards the back of the building there's a second eatery that has the most local and traditional food you can find on the island. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, open noon on Sunday. We tipped them well for keeping me going!
