The place they get their corn flour from also grows and mills varieties of wheat. They told me last time that they “would change gloves and stuff” didn’t feel very confident. Even if they don’t cross contaminate their ingredients might not be safe.
Had a wonderful experience here! While our waitress wasn’t familiar with the gf menu options, she brought over the manager who gave us the full scoop. Since they hadn’t fried any flour tortillas in the deep fryer after the most recent cleaning, we were able to enjoy the deep fried potato taco (amazing!) and churros for dessert. A big win. We’ll be back.
