I had a disappointing experience here. They have removed a lot of the vegetarian options from their menu. They did take my allergy card seriously but were not very knowledgeable, initially telling me I could have the vegan mole but when I asked them to check with the kitchen that the mole sauce was gluten free they came back and told me I could have the fish. As I'm usually vegetarian this seemed a little overwhelming so I asked if I could do corn chips and queso. I'm pretty sure the corn chips were cross contaminated, likely in a fryer, and that's on me for not checking. I think meat eaters might have more success.
The food is quite good and 2 symptomatic celiacs in our party did not get sick, but it was scary. The waiter was confused and wouldn’t ask a coworker for help. Most of the menu is gluten free and we did finally determine they have a separate fryer.
The ambiance of this place is horrid. It’s like a mall food court with LOUD thumping music; the music is so loud that it’s causing the speakers to crack and distort. We liked the food but would never go back or suggest that someone else does. There are better places.
