No gluten-free options for breakfast except eggs and fruit 😑😑😑
Despite a non-welcoming start, I was able to have a good meal with my family here. Initially the hostess told me the only GF option was shrimp and grits, which didn’t help me as I also have a shellfish allergy. However, the restaurant was good for the rest of the family so we went anyway. Our waiter was helpful, and was able to sub chicken instead of the shrimp. In addition, he confirmed with the chef that the pulled pork and sausage was GF as long as no bun. The burger would be fine without the bun as well. So, the place doesn’t go out of its way to serve customers with allergies, but we made it work and I feel fine after eating there.
came to get food at the airport, stated they don’t have gf menu or gf buns, and very minimal options they could make gf. fryer is shared with fried chicken. had no gf desert options available as they included waffles, cookies and ice cream. would not recommend just walked over and got chipotle instead! (coming from a celiac)
The server had no knowledge about gluten (thought cheese was gluten) and wasn’t able to point me to anything on the menu that’s gluten free. I ended up ordering a salad with grilled chicken. It came with no dressing and I didn’t notice until I was already on the plane since it was takeout. Giant bummer of an experience.
I have eaten at this location at the airport twice with zero issues. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. With anything you are always going to have a risk for CC unless they are a 100% dedicated gluten-free establishment. They do have small plate options to go and to dine in.
I was just there this weekend and They flat put said we can "not" accommodate an allergy only a preference. This location does not operate like the old one. I'm sure everything is delicious however is it going to be gluten free from what the manager told me there is absolutely no way they can be sure because of the facility that they're working it.
I was able to order the kids burger with a gluten free bun. I splurged on sweet potato tots and was surprised at the huge portion. When the waiter brought out our meal, he realized the bun was not gluten free. So happy he cared and expediently took care of it. Burger not the best burger ever but the meal suited the purpose. I will return next time we fly.
I am eating breakfast here right now on a layover, and I cannot believe how delish this chorizo and grits dish is! Chef Caleb is a food genius! Not only am I allergic to gluten, but I also have other food allergies. I was going to wait until the lunch menu came out and order a salad (like always at restaurants), but I decided to talk with the bartender about possible accommodations for breakfast. Chef came out and talked with me personally to prepare a custom order! He even came back out twice, while preparing the meal himself, to double-check with me about a couple ingredients. I highly suggest this place for anyone with any food allergies/sensitivities! They were so happy to accommodate! And, the food is amazing!
