Beware the GF options have declined significantly. On our recent visit there were very few options and they did not seem knowledgeable. No pasta or fried items like before. Some items from the regular menu that seemed like they could be GF (salads, salmon etc) were not on the GF menu. We had the pizza and it was ok, not confident about cross contamination either. Rooftop bar had poor service. Few GF drink options.

Gluten free pizza with one of the toppings listed was breaded eggplant 🙃! Ordered the pizza after carefully selecting non gluten toppings… was sick with terrible diarrhea with 30 minutes of eating the pizza!

Tips

Celiac

The servers are not trained ib gluten free food. When I asked my waitress if the pasta she serves me was gf, she said thar it was. I then asked for the manager to verify thatnit was the gf pasta (which should have been penne), and she said I was served the regular fettuccini noodles. Really disappointed that they served me rwgular pasta and expected me to believe it was gf.

I would not suggest eating here as an person with celiac. They boil the GF pasta in the same water as the gluten pasta.

My daughter and I both have celiac disease. We were thiss resteraunt for a rehearsal dinner. I visited the restaurant a few hours prior to check in their preparstion practices and to maje sure the gluten free pasta was prepared and stored safely. My daughter and I ordered different pastas off the gluten free menu. Unfortunately we were both glutened and sick at the wedding. We know it was this place because it's the only food she and I both ate the entire week. Also side note: The manager is extremely rude.

They had a separate gluten free menu. I wondered why some of the obvious regular menu items were not gluten free. Variety of options. Delicious. Will be back.

Worst gf pizza I’ve ever had. Used to love this place but the gf pizza is horrible. Not baked evenly. no sauce, no flavor, toppings weren’t baked. So disappointing and a waste of $20.

The GF pizza is excellent, but this restaurant seems to still think it's reasonable to charge nearly double for GF crusts.

I've never seen gf ravioli at a restaurant before so that was a treat. The mozzarella sticks were good too but maybe that's because I've never had them before. They were a bit unusual. Overall I really enjoyed it.

The pizza is good, especially the arugula and prosciutto one. But I always have to make a big deal about the fact that I don't want it over cook. Otherwise the edges are rock-hard and impossible to chew.

I had really high hopes for Castiglia's; the GF menu looked absolutely incredible!

Unfortunately, it fell short. Seriously short. I ordered the GF Fried Mozzarella Sticks, which arrived to the table as five small, egg battered slices of buffalo mozzarella. It was the furthest thing from a mozzarella stick and one of the oddest tasting things I've encountered in a restaurant. All bets were now on the GF Chicken Parmigiana I ordered for my entree. [Sigh.] Another thumbs down as the chicken sadly received the same eggy bath as the mozzarella sticks :(

Castiglia's GF menu needs some love.
