I ordered the Balsamic Date Chicken. It tasted fine, but later I went to a movie after and had popcorn with butter on it, and noticed a small rash surrounding my mouth. It grew and was there for a few days. This is the first time I’ve ever had a skin irritation, and I’ve been GF for 5 months now. They wore gloves, but I’m not quite sure what it was that made me feel this way. They wore gloves, but this wasn’t enough, though I can’t quite pinpoint what went wrong. In the end, taste doesn’t matter if you don’t react well after.

Cava is always a fast option and tastes amazing. I don't feel like I miss out on anything because most of their menu is GF.
Yes
I have cross contamination issues with lots of these fast casual places and this is included. I always tell them I have a gluten allergy and they change their gloves, but the utensils are already contaminated from being smeared on pita. And then they always ask if I want pita...
No
So delicious!!!! Had the spicy meatballs with rice and super greens. Feta, tahini sauce, tzatziki and much more. Will be back!!
Excellent Mediterranean-inspired "fast" food with plenty of Gluten free options available. Set up not intrinsically gluten free for celiacs like me (spreads are spread on pita) but when I spoke to assistant manager (Savannah?) she used the uncontaminated spreads from the fridge. I will definitely be back!
