The manager was very welcoming, said he could make dinner safe for Celiac. I ordered Shrimp Chipotle & Salad. Very good flavors. He checked on me a few times. I was thrilled to find a safe & diverse gf menu. I even took home leftovers.
2 hrs later, cramping. I vomited for 5-6 hours. Leftovers went into the trash. I called, and he seemed interested in discovering what I might have eaten that contained gluten. Assured me he was calling suppliers, would call me. I called once when he had not heard back. Promised to call me. Then he never called again me about the incident. There’s a big difference in “pretending to know and care” and actually knowing or protecting the customer.
We came in for a late lunch. My daughter is gluten intolerant and I am a celiac. After talking to the owner, he fried us chips on the stove top since they do not have a dedicated fryer. They were delicious. My taco salad was amazing and my daughter loved her quesadillas with corn tortillas. The non-gluten free people also raved about their meals and service! Will definitely visit again!
