I was very excited to try this place since I love Maneet Chauhan on Chopped. My entree was fantastic. I had Chicken Biryani. Great flavors and so tender. My only complaint is that there were limited GF options. None of the appetizers or desserts are GF and only a couple of entrees were safe. I had to sit and watch everyone else at my table enjoy appetizers and dips.
GF items are marked on the menu. Server was very knowledgeable and careful. Food was excellent.
Live the food! The waiter knew exactly what was safe for those with celiac. Would return here again.
They have a gluten friendly menu. (Let them know if you’re celiac, though, because they still have fried components on there, for example, but a shared frier.) The waitress was very knowledgeable, including letting me know about the use of asafoetida, which usually contains wheat flour, in the kababs (which were not on the gf menu). I’d never heard of this ingredient before but googled it and am very happy to know to ask about this in Indian restaurants! The food was all delicious.
The first thing the waiter asked was if we had any allergies or restrictions! We went for brunch but the gluten free options were extremely limited because there is wheat in their main seasoning mix. I had the tandoori steak and eggs and it was AMAZING. Even with a limited menu for gluten free, I would highly suggest this place because the food is incredible.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac. The server was careful to review all options for me on the menu. She even checked with the chef and came back and offered me more options that could be made celiac-safe by altering the type of spices and sauces, etc. They made every effort to make sure I had a safe, delicious meal.
Staff and manager were so knowledgeable on the menu and the chef made sure to review our entire order. The food was fantastic!
Lots of GF options. I had chicken saag, daal of the day and an heirloom salad. Be sure to specify if you are celiac and how sensitive. They do not have a dedicated fryer and initially told me I could have some fried options. Once I asked about the frier they said "oh are you THAT sensitive" and quickly told me it wasn't a dedicated fryer. I'd go back in a heartbeat but be sure to ask all of the normal cross contamination questions.
Outstanding gf food and most things on the menu is gf. The staff is very knowledgeable. The various sauces (korma, vindaloo, tikka masala) are great.
My fellow gluten free friends, rejoice! At this restaurant the GF choices outnumber the non-GF items! Our server was knowledgable and had a "cheat sheet" of allergens in each dish. My only complaint was that they didn't have a specific GF menu printed for guests, but the server made me feel comfortable. Food was also amazing, we will be back!
