Chedda Burger

Closed on a Thursday at 11:30. Stuff was piled on a table like they were shutting down the restaurant. I hope I’m reading it wrong…I loved this place!

Yum! I had a “Mother Hen” burger and cheddar tots—both were fabulous! GF bun was delicious and didn’t fall apart.

The food was great! All gluten free. I got a bacon cheeseburger with caramelized onions and it was stellar. I also got the handmade tatertots which was to die for. The strawberry milkshake was delicious. I’m a super sensitive celiac and would recommend

Excellent food. Cashier made sure staff knew I had Celiac and to special prepare my order. They have a dedicated space on the grill for GF and have a separate fryer. One of the owner’s family members has Celiac, so they get it right.

These are AMAZING burgers whether you order for delivery or dine in. The owners mom has celiac, so they are very careful and have a gluten free fryer for sides. We are dairy free too and we’re pleasantly surprised that holding ingredients was no problem. You may want to calm ahead to ensure they have gluten free buns (as they mentioned deliveries have been running late?).

Burgers are great quality in addition. Grateful to have found a place where kids and and adults can leave feeling happy.

At no extra charge you get a gluten-free burger - extremely tasty, worth it! The staff is very knowledgeable and can advise which ingredients are gluten-free and which are not. Fries are not gluten free milkshakes yes. To what extent the burgers were free of contamination, I cannot judge. But it seemed quite safe to me.

This was the best burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. I got a gluten free Schwinn (sub sautéed onions since the crispy onions aren’t gluten free). Holy cow. So good. My husband who isn’t gluten free got the green mile burger but wasn’t as impressed so I can’t speak about the normal menu. But if you’re gluten free come here.

Dedicated fryer, very gluten friendly! He told me the owner‘s mother is a Celiac so they pay special attention! “Everything can be gluten-free” on the menu!

The staff was very knowledgeable about celiacs. They have a dedicated fryer and changed their gloves to prepare my food. The burger and tater tots were delicious!

My first time eating out after my celiac diagnosis, and it was really great! The staff was super nice and explained that everything on their menu was either GF already, or had a GF option--including separate friers for GF fries, etc. I got a Bacon Burger with Half and Half Fries, and a Banana Cream milk shake. It was all truly delicious, and over 24hrs later I have felt zero symptoms so it all must have truly been GF. (Disclaimer: since I am so new to this I'm not sure how sensitive to gluten I am)

Delicious tasty thick juicy burger. I got a double bacon chedda burger on a GF bun and it was real good. Was excited to find out they have a dedicated GF fryer since most places don’t. Staff was knowledgeable and welcoming. Definitely coming back before I leave SLC.

Staff was very helpful and honest about the fact that they’d accidentally dropped a chicken strip in the GF fryer, so we weren’t able to try the side dishes. I was told the buns all went through the same toaster so I asked for ours not to be toasted. They seemed knowledgeable, but I’m still skeptical because my bun had butter and toasty edges. If I go back I’d need to ask more about that process. All that aside, it was a delicious burger. I’m asymptomatic so I won’t easily know if I got ‘glutened’.

Not a gf menu, but staff were able to read off which ingredients contained gluten. Their Chedda tots are coated in rice based panko and I enjoyed them tremendously. Nice sized portions too.

Great burger! Tasty. Juicy. Good melty cheese. I had my burger on a Gluten free bun! And it wasn’t Udi’s! The Chedda tots were great too! Crispy. Just needed a bit of salt. Overall another great gluten free meal for this celiac.

This new location is a big step up. The burgers are delicious, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive about gluten, and the tots are *incredible*.

Food was very greasy. The tots were yummy but after 4 or so they were greasy too. The staff was annoyed when I asked about gluten free options. He said yeah we have a bun. Then I asked if a certain burger was GF. He replied no, but seemed frustrated. I ordered the basic burger. I didn't get glutened, but I won't return.
