The was a gluten free menu but apparently that was bogus as I got glutened very badly. I asked the waitress when the food was put on the table if she was sure it was GF. Her reply " it should be." I will never go back!

I ate here yesterday and ordered off of their “gluten sensitive” menu and told them I had celiac. The waiter assured me that he would tell the kitchen. I got my salad and there was a large croissant placed right on top. I am newly diagnosed, three weeks actually, and have taken great precautions in my kitchen and diet and have been feeling great! This was the first time I had ventured to eat out at a restaurant. I made the mistake of just removing the croissant and not sending it back and thought it would be fine. I got sick about two hours later with nausea headache, chills and diarrhea that lasted about 24 hours. I have learned my lesson about gluten contamination. Who knows what else happened back in the kitchen. So I would say be very careful if you eat at cheddars, I don’t think they know what gluten is.
Even though they have a gluten free menu they recommended I not eat there and I'm sensitive not Celiac. We were there for my moms bday so I sat for ninety minutes with a tea. They didn't even know the chips were subject to cross contact in the fryer. Worst experience ever. Never going back. Didn't want to make any effort to see that I had something safe to eat.
The general manager understands gluten allergies and went into the kitchen to confirm exact ingredients in the sauce on what I wanted to order before I placed my order, and helped me modify a menu item to be gluten free. I ended up having grilled Salmon with a baked Sweet Potato and Broccoli. And they grilled the salmon in a clean pan to prevent cross contamination.
I have Celiac disease and had a great meal.
Update: It's a "scratch kitchen" now. Got a GF menu and had the Dijon chicken. Delish! 4 years ago in the summer I didn't ask for a gf menu. I ordered their grilled lemon pepper chicken, and I enjoyed it. So far as I know, none of their soups are gf.
I was impressed with the number of gluten free selections on the menu, including gluten free kids meals. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and even double checked with the kitchen when I was unsure about a selection. We will be back. Food was delicious
I asked for a GF menu and the after the server brought it, the manager came to my table and went through the many options with me. The fries are GF due to their dedicated fryer. I had the Baja chicken and the portion was so big that I couldn't eat it all. I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
They have a full gluten free menu and lots of options. Kid friendly and large portions!
Waitress not only didn't have knowledge of gluten allergy, she was annoyed I had so many questions about the food. Never told me rice was coming with fish, which I had to turn back. It tasted like a salt stick! Gave this place a second try due to new GF menu. Writing to headquarters to tell them to train their people regarding allergies. No sense in having a GF menu if the staff doesn't care.
My daughter HAS to eat gluten free so she ordered the nachos which she'd had before. However, this time, they made her extremely ill within 15 minutes of finishing. So be careful. I love eating here and I really appreciate the comment about asking for the chef to make her dish.
We sat forever waiting on a server, so I wasn't able to ask anyone about getting a gluten free menu. Getting fed up on waiting, I got up from our table and found a cluster of servers standing around. I asked one of them for a gluten free menu. I was told that I'd have to go and get my own from the hostess stand. Ironically, the server that had me get my own menu was our server. I came back from getting my menu to find her taking orders at my table. She seen me, walked away and sent a different server over to take care of our table. I'm now completely nervous to order anything other than a salad. The new server came over and asked what I wanted to eat. I let him know that it was medically necessary that my salad was gluten free. And to please let the kitchen know to take extra care when making my salad. I asked to please omit any crouton or bread. My salad arrived with a crescent roll right on top. I sent it back and declined anything to eat. I gave a one star review on here, as a zero star wasn't an option. I will NEVER return!

Couldn't find anything labeled GF on the online menu, ordered a grilled chicken salad with candies pecans and said no bread" gluten allergy" . When it arrived" office carry out lunch" it had the croissant on top! Flaking little bits on my food. I was angry but it is already uncomfortable being the only GF at the office.
Gf menu has 6 entrees, an appetizer, and 2 sides on it. I had the Key West Chicken and Shrimp. It was delicious and one of the most unique and flavorful gf meals I have had out. I would liked to see a few more choices, especially for side items, but was a very positive experience.
The food was great. I had steak, broc and black beans. Caution: the gf menu has 4 options and says cross contamination is possible since they don't have a dedicated gf area. I ordered off the regular menu. downside my steak came on a bed of French's onions type stuff which I was not told about. My waiter didn't seem knowledgeable about being gf. So when you eat here ask questions! I didn't get sick even though I had cross contamination. Again great food!
Ordered the pecan salad without pecans as instructed so it would be gluten free. The salad came out with a roll on it. I asked them to make me a new one and when it returned it was the same salad with the bread removed ...crumbs still on the plate. I won't be eating there again. Should have known when the waiter asked me if cheese was ok when I told him I was gluten free.
Ask for Chef/Manager Travis. He will come talk to you about GF options. He's a wonderful chef and you will get food with great flavor. He's very knowledgeable and has even tweaked items from the main menu to make them GF for me. Fantastic place! The waitstaff gets it too.
I have been to this restaurant several times and never had a problem till this last visit. I will say they have a gluten free menu now. When seated I asked if they had a gluten free menu. When ordering told them about the gluten. They assured me the kitchen changes their gloves and are very carful with special diets. I made it half way home and I started to have trouble. After this last visit I will not be going back. I would say eat at this place at your own risk.
My waitress was the rudest I've ever encountered eating out since diagnosis with celiac. I got a salad and a baked potato and asked if I could get my salad with no croutons and let her know I have celiac and that I could not have gluten. I asked if she knew off hand if any of the dressings were gluten free and she didn't so I said that's ok I'll just not get dressing to be safe. She brought the salad first and it had no croutons but it came with a huge croissant on top. She said oops and took it off but I said I was so sorry but I needed a new salad because there were crumbs on the salad. She goes "you've got to be kidding me, you can't even touch it?!" So loudly that everyone stared. I was so embarassed and kept apologizing. She took the salad away and stormed off and then came back and said it was ok, she gave my salad to someone "less picky". I nervously ate my new salad praying it wasn't the same one that she pretended to change out. She came back later with a voucher for a free dessert and acted a tad apologetic but never said sorry. I'll never go back.
If you go here, immediately ask for a manager. Most servers (and the website) will not have accurate information or understand the hazards with cross contamination. Managers will be best equipped to help you navigate your experience. As someone with celiac this was a nightmare to accommodate during a busy mealtime, so I would also recommend coming when they are slower to get more personalized service.
