I have been going to cheese cake factory since I was little and always got the kids pasta with marinara sauce. When I found out they could do gluten free I was ecstatic and over the moon. Only come to find not one but multiple different noodles in my past bowl. Come on now how hard is it to separate the pastas. It wasn’t only the most recent time I went but it has happened countless times. Don’t go if u wanna throw up all over your bathroom floor.
They have a separate fryer for gluten-free French fries! I checked and both the location on Topanga Blvd in the valley and the location in Thousand Oaks have dedicated fryers for French fries only. When I asked they did warn me that they can’t guarantee nothing else could ever accidentally get in the fryer because other stuff is nearby in the kitchen, but they said nothing breaded ever goes in that fryer. So I ate the fries and they were good and I didn’t get sick.
Also, if you order through doordash then some items (like the fries) have a button you can check that says “make it gluten-free”!
The Cheesecake Factory has an extensive gluten free menu. Gluten free options include pasta, burgers (with buns), and cheesecake for dessert.
Cheesecake Factory did not comply with GLUTEN FREE ORDER, we asked for Gluten Free for our pasta and told them it would be for severe Allergy reasoning, our waitress served well however there was an elderly women (Natasha) probably in her late mid-55, short Blonde wavy ramen noodle soup bob hair cut who was rude and didn't help the situation she is a manager to make it worse. She took our plate and only gave the option to have it that dish removed from the bill, no apology, or remorse. We asked for a gift card and she argued she took off the pasta and that's it. The pasta that we ordered( mind you this pasta was "gluten free" for my fiancé FROM THE START) so if you're CELIACS like her and would like a gluten free menu, I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF HERE. It is not worth the pain. However The man who came to the table after sassy ramen (probably manager or boss) was very kind and covered the whole bill even asking if I was okay, and if I wanted anything else. (fiancé)
There are not very many GF options, but the ones they have are clearly marked. I had the spicy shrimp pasta, and it was very good. Sadly, they don't have a dedicated fryer, so if you want an omelette (which can be made GF), you won't be able to have breakfast potatoes with it.
Only a couple of cheesecake options are GF, but the one I had ("Lowlicious" with strawberries) was excellent.
I ate here tonight and got the gf pasta. Am in a world of pain 3 hours later…not saying it was the pasta but also not NOT saying it was the pasta. It wasn’t clear that anything on the menu would be safe, as even the salads had questionable things in them. Went for a friends bday but would not recommend going if you have any choice in the matter.
