I came here with my mom and grandma for lunch, and truly had an incredible experience! They have gluten free burger buns, they have their own frier that they use to make french fries safe, and best of all, they have amazing gluten free chocolate cheesecake! Our server was so knowledgeable about our options and took great care to make sure my meal was gluten free. I can’t wait to come back.

I’ve been to other cheesecake factories that didn’t want to accept responsibility. These guys take you seriously, which is refreshing. It’s not a huge portion of the menu that they offer gluten free but they do have some items and the food was good and I didn’t get sick. Am celiac and sensitive

Great selection on the menu! Not a specific gluten free menu, so you have to look carefully on the regular menu. Lots of choices & even two gluten free cheesecakes!

April 2019 - Tried this location for first time last week. Had Cobb salad with ranch (balsamic that normally comes with cob is not gf) and had no crutons. Took a couple slices of my own gf udi multigrain bread and they brought me butter. Waitress was knowledgeable about celiac options. Had no issues. Salad was a little bland but nice to have another family option. May try blue cheese dressing next time which is also gf.

Update: have gone several more times this year with no issues. Also Godiva cheesecake is GF but I advise you only get if buy a whole frozen one to take home and thaw out in fridge before eating (the sliced ones in the restaurant case are next to gluten deserts so I avoid getting slices at the restaurant). These are the best GF deserts I know of.

I cannot stress how inept restaurants are. I can't imagine traveling if I had a food allergy that required an EpiPen for anaphylaxis.

I have Celiac disease. It's an autoimmune disease, not an allergy, where consuming even a crumb of gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley and rye) can cause my body to attack my intestines, and potential intestinal bleeding.

Cooking food in the same water or oil as gluten foods coats the food in gluten, making it not gluten free anymore. Heat doesn't neutralise gluten.

I am so tired of lettuce wrapped burgers, salads or unseasoned steaks. Before our flight home yesterday (July 14, 2024 around 7 PM in the bar) we went to Cheesecake Factory because they have a marked menu of dishes that can be made gluten-free. It's Fresno and there are almost no other options in town.

Before I ordered my drink, I asked the server to ask the kitchen if they can start boiling a fresh pot of water for the gluten-free pasta I was about to order. She had to check with the kitchen that they'd do that. She came back and said that the kitchen always boils fresh water for gluten-free pasta. (This is not standard. 99.9% of restaurants don't know not to cook gluten-free pasta in contaminated water.)

I ordered the spicy chicken chipotle pasta which is marked "gluten free upon request."

It came out with hot tortilla strips on top, which aren't even mentioned on the menu. I asked her if these tortilla strips were fried in the same fryer as everything else that has gluten, like chicken tenders, because if so, the whole dish isn't gluten-free.

Surprise, yes, the tortilla strips are full of gluten. Had to wait for them to remake my dish. It didn't even come off the bill.

This is the second time at a California Cheesecake Factory that my gluten-free dish has arrived with an undisclosed gluten topping.

This is not a mom and pop place. How are corporate restaurants going to advertise "gluten-free upon request" but not train their kitchen on how to turn those dishes gluten-free?

I don't think highly of businesses & business owners because I've had 3 straight years of seeing how incompetent they are with knowing their own product. You're in the food business. How do you not know what's in your food?

Symptomatic celiac. Informed waitress of allergy and watched her write it down. Food tasted great. Ordered gluten free four cheese pasta. Took a bite and said “man, this doesn’t even taste gluten free” as a compliment to the food. Not sure if I was given gluten or gluten free pasta but had an immediate significant gluten reaction. Will not be returning due to severity of gluten exposure. Was the worst exposure yet (have been gluten free for 6 months)

This is my go to place for GF cheesecake. The Godiva is amazing. Ask for it to be prepare GF because they garnish it with something that is not GF.

I also don’t mind their GF burger buns. It can get crumbly… but I enjoy the taste and burger itself.

Visited the Bridgewater location, they had a decent amount of gluten free options on the menu. The waiter was knowledgeable and caring. Service seemed a bit slow so he came to us to explain they were taking extra precautions in the kitchen for us...cleaning space to keep our food safe and taking their time to avoid cross contamination. My son and I ate and had zero issues from the dinners we had. The waiter definitely made us feel comfortable.
