I asked my server for a Gluten Free menu and she said they are marked on the regular menu. It says that there is no separate fryer and that the items may share some equipment. I asked about the Corn Tortillas for the Tacos, they are cooked over the same grill as other non GF items. I ordered my favorite salad, pre-Celiac diagnosis, a Ceaser’s salad no croutons, the Shepherd’s Pie which was huge and had a yummy gravy mixed in with the vegetables and meat with mashed potatoes on top, and the Flourless cake Chocolate Godiva Cheesecake for dessert. The order ticket was marked GF and I was assured the item would be prepared GF so I felt safe. It’s nice to know I can still enjoy a meal there!
Not safe. I have gotten glutened more times than not now. Used to be able to go and not have any problems and always was able to enjoy the gluten free four cheese pasta. I make sure my needs are spoken for and that has not stopped me from finding regular pasta in my supposed to be gluten free pasta. I do not recommend.
Limited GF modifications; no separate fryer; limited awareness of celiac/allergy prep from the server. I only ate the beet/orange/avocado salad and didn’t order more because I was worried about cross contamination. While I didn’t get glutened, I certainly wasn’t satisfied and I left hungry.
I have only been here for drinks and dessert so far. The gf chocolate cheesecake is disgustingly sweet and so rich that neither my boyfriend nor I could make it past half of our slices. However, their vodka martini with blue-cheese-stuffed olives is fantastic in flavor and potency (I had two, and boy are they a doozy). I don't know how gf it is because of the blue cheese, but if you don't have a super duper sensitivity, go for it!
I crave cheesecake like, on the regular. I miss it so much! My favorite flavor is original, hands down. Unfortunately, the only gluten-free cheesecake The Cheesecake Factory offers is their Godiva chocolate cheesecake. It is not labeled gluten-free on the list of cheesecakes, which worried me, but they claim it is safe. I do not think the staff is trained on cross-contamination, as I'm pretty sure they used the same utensil to handle my cheesecake as they did to handle my husband's gluteny one. I avoided the area touched by the utensil and felt fine after eating it, but it didn't satisfy my cheesecake craving. Super rich chocolate may be some people's cup of tea, but I just don't dig it much. I plan to just stick with the little mini gluten-free cheesecakes from Whole Foods from now on.
I was blown away with how big their GF menu is. They offer GF appetizers, sides, entrees, and desserts. The food is so delicious, I usually get the mushroom burger (with GF bun) with a side salad. The GF chocolate cheesecake is good if you love really rich desserts... It was a little too sweet for me. I like the (kids sized) vanilla ice cream with hot fudge. They also offer an adult size sundae but it is made for 2-3 people. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the last time I was there my food was cross contaminated. Within the hour my stomach swelled up 3 times the size and started to cramp horribly. I have been many times and only experienced a bad reaction once.
I was very impressed whe i ate here. They clearly had gluten free options labeled on the menu and even had 3 gluten free cheesecake options! The server even knew what celiac disease was and they were extra careful. I got the green chili chicken enchiladas. They were amazing and I had no reactions!
