Explained to the server that I'm GF.. Ordered salad came with croutons on it . Definitely not a GF restaurant. Not worth the risk .
Do not eat here if you have Celiac Disease. Definite cross-contamination on the GF pasta. They will toast a piece of GF bread for you, but I doubt they use a separate toaster. They probably don't boil their GF pasta separately. I feel like I got hit by an 18-wheeler after eating there last night. I will definitely not return.
Had the salmon it was amazing!!! Told the waiter I had celiac he brought me out my own gf roll and own butter, checked on all the sauces for me and made sure I had an excellent experience... Only down side was only one cheesecake was made gf that night!
Awesome place which has many options. Make sure you say you have a gluten allergy. They have a whole menu with many options
In my experience, they treat gluten sensitivities like a fad diet and therefore do not take it seriously. My server could have cared less. I did not feel safe at all. Will not be back and it's a shame since this was one of my favorite restaurants before.
When they are not crowded they are great. I ask for the manager before being seated too which works great.
They went from having no options to having tons of options. They have a whole gluten-free menu now which includes pasta! I didn't feel like I was the gluten-free person at the table. I just felt like I was out to dinner with my family. The staff could be a bit more knowledgable though. More training on allergies. It's not enough to just try when someone has Celiac. No room for error.
horrible. I specifically said I have celiac and ordered 2 hours ahead and they have me bread and croutons on my salad. went back to get it fixed and asked for just a salad with grilled chicken, they gave me spinach, no lettuce, a tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and no chicken.
Gluten free pasta is great! They do have issues with cross contamination but didn't bother me. The gf cheesecake was not gf at all though, but not sure if they gave me the regular slice instead by accident - receipt didn't say gf when I checked after
They are working on a gf menu and when I was there a few months ago they said by this summer. Fingers crossed they create a gf cheesecake option!

They do not offer a gf menu and are extremely in accommodating. Had a server refuse to give me the check until I ordered cheesecake and explained to him multiple times that I was allergic. Sad because this was one of my favorite spots before becoming gf.
Very surprised to see this restaurant on the list. My experience at any Cheesecake Factory has been unpleasant. I was discouraged from ordering anything other than a beverage & side salad without a dressing. I would prefer & understand if they would say that they cannot accommodate allergies.

I got glutened. I have eaten here many times in the past and while the service is always terrible the gf food is usually safe. As a Celiac I always make sure to tell them of my condition and order gf items w/o substitutions. I recently had an early dinner (4pm) so it is not like they were busy, I was assured the pasta was gf only to get violently ill. I was very disappointed since they do have a decent selection but I can't go back bc I can't trust that the gf food is safe.
Unfortunately didn't eat here for the following reason - the man at the front desk assured me there was a dedicated fryer for fries but when I asked the person serving us she looked concerned saying she thought the same oil was used for other things. She checked in the kitchen and the chef said definitely don't have the fries if you need gluten free. The menu looked very good and the woman serving us was great and I used to love Cheesecake Factory before being diagnosed but just to warn any celiacs - at this particular restaurant - don't have the fries!
This was my first, and last, time at this restaurant. When we sat down I explained to be waitress that we are gluten free. We ordered our food and she asked if we would like gluten free pasta or another kind. When we completed our order she said that she would bring over bread and butter. I asked her whether they have gluten free bread in the restaurant and her answer was "Oh, no, we do not. Would you like some of the other bread?" My pasta was really undercooked. Due to time constraints I just ate what I could. Even after I let the management know, I was not offered a discount on the meal, which was poorly prepared.
This was a bad experience. The staff had no idea what was gluten free and what was not so they took a guess. (NOT SMART) I got the grilled chicken green beans and mashed potatoes. Then i got the godiva cheesecake. A few minutes later i felt the pain. I do not what know what caused it but i will NEVER go here again. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!
I ordered a burger with gf bread and a pasta dish. I found one errand gluten pasta in my pasta dish. I also ordered the Godiva cheesecake for dessert. They have a lot of options and our server and manager were very informative about the menu and their procedure.
DO NOT EXPECT TOTALLY GLUTEN FREE. Everything can be cross contaminated. They have a lot of choices, if you can handle the chance of getting some gluten. We are not celiac but have still had some problems eating there, even when ordering the gluten free items. Cheesecake Factory is not very clear on their menu that things can be cross contaminated. For example, everything is cooked in the same fryer.
Although they mark many options as "gluten-free" on their menu, it would be wise to ask about the preparation of the specific item you are ordering. After I inquired further, I was informed that anything in the fryer (although many are labeled gluten free) are not celiac safe, as they do not have dedicated fryers. Such a bummer, since one wouldn't necessarily even think to ask about fryers as things that are fried are specifically labeled as gluten free.
The service was beyond what I had expected and my waiter was very kind, and helped me find the right gluten free dinner for me. I got the 4 cheese pasta and it was out of the world delicious. I would recommend my waiter again, and was so happy that I was able to eat here. I want and will DEFINITELY come back, and am very excited that this is another gluten free option for me.***
Fortunate enough to have a server who was extra considerate. They brought it to our attention that even though the menu item is GF it is prepared in "shared" cookware/water! The Godiva flourless chocolate cake is delicious :)
Great place to eat! So many gluten free options on the menu and the staff is very helpful and nice. My celiac daughter got a kids cheeseburger with a gluten free bun, and did not have a reaction! Also, delicious Godiva gluten free chocolate cheesecake! Definitely recommend!

Be careful what you order and ask questions! Had my heart set on Pasta Carbonara, which is made with gf pasta upon request. However, the gf pasta is made in the same water as the regular pasta. Ordered the tamale cakes instead and they were great. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable. They have a lot of offer in the gluten free department, just remember to ask about the items first and you'll be fine.
My son was so excited to have so many options. He decided on a cheeseburger on a Gluten Free roll, French fries and Godiva GF cheesecake.
The Colonie New York location seems to have their act together now. I ordered the 4 cheese pasta and it was very good. The server seemed to understand celiac . She also remembered when it came time for desert and offered me the only gluten free cheesecake selection they have which is chocolate. Will certainly go again.
They have a decent amount of gluten free options. However, they offer Godiva cheesecake as the gluten free cheesecake but Godiva chocolate is not gluten free! Their vinaigrette dressing is also not gluten free because it uses malt vinegar.
Was contaminated(a gluten free pasta dish), tried it again a second time with an entirely different meal (a chicken dish with rice) and was contaminated again. Will never go again.
