I have had breakfast here many times!! I like breakfast food but I don’t like cooking it! Chelmsford Diner food has never made me sick! The coffee is really good and the service is great! You can tell a lot about an eating place when people are waiting to get in. Also when a lot of folks seem to know each other!! It isn’t a free standing place but you can tell it is the place to go for breakfast. As a matter of fact I’m going over this weekend!!

Basic quality diner food. Had the gluten free waffle, the batter was a little too sweet and tasted a little too processed for me. Staff were really lovely and attentive but I likely won’t be back. Great if you love diner quality food.

I eat here at least once a month and just came back from another visit today! They have a dedicated GF waffle iron which makes wonderful waffles. While they do have a disclaimer that they aren’t an exclusive GF kitchen, I have never had issues, and I am a very sensitive celiac. It’s my go-to breakfast place.

Love love love this place! The staff is so attentive and you can basically get anything someone without a gluten intolerance can : pancakes with so many customizations, French toast, English muffins, etc. The food was so delicious and the staff so friendly I will be a repeat customer!

My son ate the GF Belgian waffle with berries in under 10 minutes. The veggie omelette was moist not overcooked and dry like some people make it -it was absolutely loaded with vegetables -no skimping there- also enjoyed the home fries- again not too dry. My only complaints are that it appears the whip cream was included in the charge but I thought it was a separate charge so we didn't get it and I ordered one piece of French toast which turned out to be the obscene amount of three dollars when three pieces were about $5.50 would've been nice if they gave us a heads up so I only gave 15% tip because of that. Will definitely be back though!

This place is fantastic! The owner's daughter has Celiac, so she was super knowledgable, and also just the nicest lady. My partner and I shared blueberry pancakes, a Belgian waffle, and cinnamon raisin French toast. It was all delicious, and all gluten/dairy free! I have Celiac disease and a dairy allergy and didn't get sick! My partner said the coffee was really good as well. They were so accommodating. We live in Shrewsbury (quite the hike), and even so we will most certainly be back frequently.

Staff seemed knowledgeable and they had a lot of options. Unfortunately they brought out a sandwich on regular bread! Luckily we could tell before even trying it. Once the corrected the food was good but that could have been bad.

Chelmsford Diner is THE best little breakfast place around! They have a dedicated GF menu and prepare all items on a separate griddle/toaster/waffle maker and with separate utensils. They offer GF items from Udi's, Rudi's & Maple Grove Farms GF products! They have Belgium waffles, pancakes, French toast (all of which are dairy-free), bagels (plain, everything & cinn. raisin), toast (white, multigrain & cinn. raisin), and you can also substitute GF bread into any menu item. They also have GF ziti, elbows & spaghetti! This family-owned restaurant has truly thought of it all, the staff is very well knowledgable topped with very fast service, I am 100% a returning customer!

Gluten-friendly perhaps, however the food was very bland and it took 45 minutes after ordering to get a simple meal. Won't be back.

FANTASTIC service and GF menu. Lots of breakfast and lunch items including Belgian waffles! Extremely knowledgeable about cross contamination so we didn't have to worry at all. Definitely worth stopping by.

Staff went out of their way for us. We arrived for lunch just before 1 pm on Labor Day, not knowing they close at 1 and not 2 pm. When we realized our mistake, we told the waitress not to worry and we would go elsewhere, but they insisted we stay and made us the best GF breakfast/lunch we've had in a long time. We will stop by again on our next visit to the area!

Great options including cinnamon swirl pancakes. They have a gluten free section on the menu, but most of the items can be made GF. One of the owner's daughters has Celiac, so they are aware of cross contamination. They have a separate grill for GF food. Service is slow but very friendly. This is our favorite breakfast place!

The BEST place around! They have dedicated GF grills and staff is extremely knowledgable. Have never had any issue with CC. The GF stuff takes a little extra time, but I'm ok with that. It's great to be able to take my 6 year old out for a breakfast again. Thank you Chelmsford Diner!

service was a bit slow (granted it was Father's Day), but the gf pancake was good. I'm not much of a pancake person but it was actually surprisingly good, especially if you cover it in whipped cream and strawberries!

I've eaten here twice now, and been fine both times. Had eggs last time, and a BLT this time. When you order GF they ask if it is preference or medical, make sure you say it's medical. They have separate pans and a separate toaster/oven for GF stuff. The waitresses were both super nice, and when they weren't totally sure of the current batch of something they checked for me. :)

Separate gluten free menu includes pancakes, waffles, bagels, toast. It also states that almost all items in the rest of the menu can be made gluten free. Waitress that attended us was very good and even gave me butter that was stored in covered clear containers. Had no issue with my order. Would visit again.

Wow words can't even begin to describe the terrible dining experience we had.. First, the only gluten free foods are pancakes, waffles and store bought bread which I can just buy. Next, the service is horrendous, the waitress was rude and unaware of anything, we waited for 40 minutes for our food and then another 15 minutes for our check, you would also even think this place would have a dedicated fryer but they don't... The best part... Eating my supposed gluten free pancakes made me sick.. Warning!!! Don't go here!!!!

I found this place this morning...AMAZING! A little strip mall diner. When I saw the menu, my first question to the pleasant waitress was, "Who has celiac...owner or children?" The owner's grandchildren was the answer. The have a separate space for cooking and the waitress was knowledgeable which put me at ease. I had yummy multigrain French toast. When I asked for syrup, the waitress was not certain it was GF however, she brought out the original container and let me check it out..after a quick search on line to double check... Turns out it was safe! YAY! On their menu they state they are happy to make special orders. Highly recommend you check this place out! Oh and the "gluten-full" menu looked intriguing so I think it would be good for all!
