We had a great experience with Chen’s in Cranberry a few months ago. The man I ordered from was very knowledgeable about gf and my celiac daughter’s order came out perfect and she didn’t get sick at all. However, the last two times ordering there were terrible mistakes: first mistake was we ordered a sesame chicken kid’s meal and the lady I ordered from said they could do it gluten free. NOTHING in my daughter’s meal came gluten free—her sesame chicken was breaded, the fried rice on the side was from the big batch they have for sides made with gluten soy sauce, and they included fries that are cooked in shared oil! When I called, the manager lady apologized and offered a free kids meal for another time. A few weeks later we called and ordered her meal and I ordered from the manager. We discussed no breading on the sesame chicken, white rice on the side, and an extra container of white rice instead of fries. Her meal came with no breading on the chicken, but the fried rice made with the gluten soy sauce on the side—and in the same container!!!! Very disappointed with our experiences. If you order take out from here, make sure to check your food before you leave the restaurant!
