Freaking AMAZING!!!
Stuffed filet was 🤤🤤🤤🤤
This a MUST MUST if your near by!
Delicious! Our favorite place in town. Had the Boursin filet. Best steak in town!
What a great experience. I let the waitress know I was gluten free and she was very pleasant about it. Next thing I know the floor manager came over with an allergen restriction guide so I would be more comfortable!!! Nice work Josh!! Rotisserie chicken was great, house salad with balsamic dressing and Tennessee blue cheese grits were perfect.
There are plenty of GF options, not just salad. Burgers with GF bun, steak, chicken, seafood and sides. Waiter/waitress asks if anyone has an allergy. They take precautions seriously. They cook the meats and seafood in a separate pan to prevent contamination. (The grill isn't safe, that's why it's cooked in a pan).
The food was delicious! The gluten free menu items are clearly marked. I’m a tea entry diagnosed celiac and I used to love eating bread. I asked if when they brought out the bread before the meal if I could get a gluten free bun to eat with some butter and the server got me one. I got sirloin steak and baked potato and it was very good! Would definitely recommend!
Food was excellent ordered ribs and sweet potato. Menu clearly labeled and employees were well informed.
To start, our server asked right off the bat if there were any food allergies at our table! Wowza! She also asked us if we wanted a separate menu with all allergens listed. There were adequate options available for GF, food came labeled with a little “allergy” marker, food was delicious and of course what really matters, no sickness following!
We went to Cherokee Grill on Thanksgiving, and had a fantastic experience. Spoke with the manager upon arrival and let her know of my celiac needs. She specifically sat me in a supervisor waitress section who was very knowledgeable about allergies. She asked me what I was interested in, and went over the preparation of the burgers. My burger was made in a separate pan, and then bun was toasted in a different area besides the gluten filled toaster. I was very happy with the service here and did not get sick!
They were very knowledgeable and careful. My 9 year old has celiac, not typical symptoms though so I never know if cross contamination occurs but I felt very safe there. The manager came and spoke to us, took our order separate, they brought baked potato whole (as I asked them not to cut it to risk contamination from knife). The waitress was also very good - brought me the ketchup container when I asked what brand so I could confirm gluten free.
Surprised by all the high ratings. Was super excited to go here but when my salad came it was topped in giant croutons. This was after saying I was celiac and needed no gluten AND he repeated it back to me to check and even reassured me that the entire kitchen gets notified to make sure there aren’t any issues. Someone else brought out the salad and I was immediately disappointed. Our waiter came out a moment later and I let him know there were croutons and I couldn’t have it. He told me it must just be a mess up in the kitchen and mine might be back there or we can make a new one but by then my trust was gone. I let him know I was all set and was going to eat later. He was super apologetic and kind, but it wasn’t something I was willing to risk on vacation (you all know how an accidental glutening can really put a damper on a trip).
My boyfriend (not gluten free) got a steak and he said it wasn’t very good either. Asked for medium and it was extremely well done. Looked tasty tho lol but maybe that was just because I couldn’t eat haha
We went to dinner here. They have gluten free options available and noted on the menu. I did not ask about prep area but I also did not get sick. I had steak and loaded baked potato. I would make reservations during peak season. Parking is available. I did not see any GF dessert options. The food was fantastic!
Every time we come to Gatlinburg we eat here once or twice during our trip because I never have any issues with the GF food. I have celiac and very sensitive to CC. Absolutely delicious and well educated staff. Highly recommend trying them out!
Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that the chef knew I was highly allergic. I got a porterhouse steak and loaded baked potato with Cesar salad and everything was absolutely delicious.
Waiter did not seem knowledgeable about gf or precautions. I think he may have been new also. He asked if I wanted a beer after I had told him I'm gf. Then later offered more bread. I ordered the grilled salmon, which was extremely small, and a baked potato. I left there hungry and ended up having a reaction later on. GF options are limited. I won't be returning.
Gluten free marked on menu - Byron was out waiter he was great and very attentive to my needs. He was funny and knew a ton about the food and how it’s prepared. Best meal we had in Gatlingburg!!!
Server was informed and helpful. Did a takeout order and they made sure to notate gluten free. I got a burger with a gluten free bun and a baked potato. It wasn't the best burger but it was missing mayo so that could've helped. Bun was very fluffy. Didn't get sick
Food was excellent, our celiac kids said it was the best steak they have ever eaten. Service was also excellent and they were very knowledgable about all the gluten free issues.
I ordered the filet mignon and sweet potato. It was very good. I asked them to cook it separately from any grill that ever had gluten on it. The waiter was very nice to ask if it was OK to bring bread to the table for our party of 9 to eat. They tried very hard to make my food safe for me and called it my “Celiac plate.” They served it on a cast iron skillet. Unfortunately I had a lot of bloating and pain after I ate here and I was wondering if it could have been from the cross contamination on my cast iron plate?
First question server had was allergies and when we brought up celiac disease they immediately addressed it with the manager and had the kitchen notified as well. Overall excellent service and food.
The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The manager personally spoke with me and made my food. They had precautions in place for every level of food sensitivity/intolerance/allergy. My only concern for those coming to visit is a few items marked on the menu (such as the honey mustard) has soy sauce it in and isn’t 100% gluten free even though it is marked as gf. But the staff is more than willing to dig deeper into the ingredients and take their time to make sure you food is truly safe.
Ask for Carrie as your server!! This place is top notch and I felt very safe eating there! They even offer bottled water for a drink option! I had rotisserie chicken, loaded baked potato and green beans...it was all delicious!!! Make reservations ahead as they had a two hour wait on a Monday evening.
Responsive service, plenty of gluten-free options, excellent food!
We let the server know we needed gluten-free and were given gluten-free menus as well as personal assistance from the manager to ensure our needs were met. Definitely succeeded! Everything we chose was tasty, and although we had different persons in our party with celiac and gluten sensitivity, none were glutened.
We definitely will return and highly recommend to others!
Great experience! The first thing the server asked us was if we had any food allergies. After I told her that I have celiac disease, she walked me through the gluten free options and asked if I had any questions. My stuffed mushrooms, salad, and steak were so good! Definitely recommend.
I am giving this restaurant five stars because of the level of safety I felt ordering. The chef came to our table to discuss ingredients and the dishes he could make gluten free for us, should we desire. I opted for the grilled chicken salad. The chicken was an ample portion and flavorful. We felt the food quality was above average. To be fair, we didn't order anything adventurous, so there may be some gems we did not uncover on the menu. They offer daily specials, so there's a decent variety and the chef was knowledgeable and willing to make substitutions. That alone would make some celiacs feel comfortable as well. Give it a try. See what you think.
The chef came out to discuss ingredients and make sure I could eat safely. I chose the hamburger on a gf bun and a baked potato. This was the best gf bun I have ever eaten. Our waitress has gluten issues too so she was very careful. I am not celiac but highly reactive.
Do not eat here If you are gluten free and dairy free. My waitress told me the fryer was gluten free and when they came out I asked another waiter who said they were not safe. My first waiter came out and said "oh, you didn't want to risk it?" All I was able to get was a hamburger... Not great
The staff was knowledgeable about their GF offerings and there are quite a few choices if you’re dairy free also. I would go back!
This place totally took the fact that I have celiac disease seriously...very impressed with the service and the food was yummy!!!!
Server Greg Judd was excellent - he was very knowledgeable about dietary needs and the manager checked over and delivered food. I had one of their burgers on an excellent GF bun and Tennessee grits. The fryer is not gluten free. My non-GF companions also LOVED their food and said it was the best cobbler they'd ever eaten. Perfect location in downtown Gatlinburg and they validate parking. Highly recommended!
My GF burger, fries and salad were delicious! The selection was reasonable and I left very satisfied!
Gluten Free options are somewhat tough in Gatlinburg. This restaurant does get it, with a separate menu and a visit from the manager to answer all questions on preparation. Went there twice while staying in the Smokies for dinner & lunch. Sever's were also relatively knowledgeable and able to get answers we had on the orders.
My daughter & I are both celiac, but are relatively asymptomatic.
They do have a gf menu with multiple options, including a gf bun if you want a burger. However, since I have to be dairy-free as well, that left me with very few options. I had the rotisserie chicken with a plain baked potato and added mushrooms. I also had the stuffed mushrooms as an app(they list as optional gf). Unfortunately, just a few minutes into my entree I began feeling nauseated. I don't have celiac so I am thinking it was dairy. The food that I did eat was pretty good tasting and the server was very attentive.
Amazing filet mignon! I had the filet mignon salad, the steak was so flavorful which helped make up for the sad excuse of a salad it's served on.
Wonderful place to eat!! Great menu, manager came out and talked the menu over with me. Knowledgeable staff! We ate in after our wedding and then got carry out a few days later. No problems either time and I have celiac. Definitely will be back next time we are in town 😃
Server was attentive to gluten precautions and I was able to order off a gluten free menu that had many choices. NY strip steak was delicious, blue cheese grits were delicious, and mashed potatoes were delicious as well.
GF menu available. Good ribeye, grits and baked potato.!
Servers here are willing to check anything - great Mules, steak, and blue cheese dressings and grits - seriously can't get enough. This restaurant is a must stop for us!
Poor service Server did not use Celiac precautions Would avoid this place
The staff were very knowledgeable and it was wonderful meal. The blue cheese grits are a must have!
