They ask if you’re gluten free right away, I’ve never been asked that! Such great service, totally recommend the garlic gluten free pizza
Right away asked if there was an allergy and notified the kitchen. The deep dish gf pizza was superb. I had the calamari and gf cheese bread as an appetizer. Again excellent food and service. No reaction at all.
Not good for celiac. I definitely have issues today after eating there last night.
really good, with a lot of choices. the stuffed pizza was incredible. will be back.
The gluten free deep dish was DELICIOUS! I did not get sick at all.
Good gluten free deep dish. Safe. Good staff.
Pizzas are great and very tasty
Great menu! And they deliver!!! Pizza comes in box with 'gluten free' printed on the outside. We've ordered in and eaten at this location with our two celiac daughters many times without issue.
3 of us split a supreme stuffed deep dish pizza and a calzone with spinach and garlic. Delicious, cheesy, and filling. Great crust on both. Ate just over half the pizza and 3/4 of the calzone, took the rest with us. Total $50+tip. Definitely will come back when in the area. I'll include some pictures.
Amazing!!! I had my husband try a piece of the gluten free garlic bread and he told me that it did not taste that different from the regular bread. Honestly the most 'springy' bread and crust I've had in years!!!
Gluten free menu, is very large. Disclaimer is on menu about cross contamination. Its always a risk to eat out. The house gf bread is some of the best bread I have ever had gluten free. Ordered deep dish pizza is only $1.50 more not bad. They have pasta, calzones, apps, sandwiches, and more. Thin crust, deep dish, and stuffed deep dish in gluten free. Pizza yummy.
Have been a regular for years. Hands down best gluten free pizza. Especially the thin crust and calzones.
I went there for the first time with my boyfriend and I and it was great. I'm gluten free and when I heard they had gluten free deep dish in Chicago, I knew I had to check it out! We sat down and when our waitress presented our menus, she asked if either of us was gluten free and she pointed out the menu and there was almost too much to pick from! I went with the gluten free deep dish and it was great! We will definitely be back :)
It's always contaminated. Every time I order, I threw up!
I'm just sitting here remembering how much I love the gf pizza dough they make. Anytime we're in town I have to get pizza here and my non-gf friends and husband enjoy it as well. I haven't been able to enjoy such an authentic stuffed crust pizza anywhere but here in the last 10 years!
The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable on gluten free diets. The pizza and pasta are amazing. definitely a safe place to eat
The cheesy garlic bread is good, but the stuffed pizza is amazing. 3 thumbs up!
Amazing pizza ! The taste is unlike any gluten free pizza I have had !
Great safe gluten free pizza. Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Totally authentic stuffed pizza!
Gluten free authentic Chicago stuffed pizza!
Loved my g-free deep dish! Ordered while in town for a wedding, they delivered to my hotel and it was great 😊
Outstanding pizza! Visited the restaurant twice on this trip, the first time had a panini and the second time the stuffed pizza. Excellent food and excellent selection of GF food and desserts. They do a great job with the homemade crust and cook it just right. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Oh, the cheesecake is awesome and a must!
this place is so great. Pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads are gluten free. Lately I have started noticing that they even ask right when you start ordering if you are gluten free. I ordered here probably once a week for the last 2 or 3 years and I've only had an issue once in terms of gluten sickeness. the variety of options and the overall price is well worth it. There gluten free pizza especially is phenomenal. I feed it to my non gluten-free friends and they can't tell the difference
GF deep dish was amazing! I never thought I would ever get to try one! And in Chicago! It is a home made crust that they developed themselves. It was so good that I took my leftovers - which I never do on vacation. My husband, who can eat anything, ordered GF Fettuccini Chicken Alfredo. It was also fantastic! I would go out of my way to stop here again!
I eat here all the time! Their pizza, both stuffed and thin crust, are delicious. You can hardly tell it's gluten-free! They also have other GF options such as sandwiches, pasta, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable. They even say on the menu that they prepare GF food in a dedicated area!
The gluten free stuffed Chicago-style pizza was awesome! The restaurant even brought out separate gluten free toast to eat before the pizza came before the meal. Just a couple tips, my two children could have easily split a baby Bella stuffed pizza, and it takes a little longer to cook (30 min) totally worth it, but you've gotta plan for it.
GLUTEN FREE STUFFED PIZZA. I'm obsessed with Chicago`s. I get a whole stuffed spinach pizza for myself and then freeze the individual slices for lunch and it's delightful. IThey serve you fresh warm gf focaccia bread if you dine in. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Best gf pizza I've had in Chicago so far. My mouth is watering as I write this. Mmm.
the pizza was amazing, some of the best I've ever had! the staff is very friendly and helpful. prices are very reasonable and menu is very full of gf options in addition to the pizza.
Wonderful deep dish and thin crust gf pizza. Also have delicious gf foccasia and calzones. I live 45 mins away and plan on visiting once a month. Next time I plan on trying the gf paninis. A must try in Chicago!
I didn't care for their pizza because it was GF. I may never eat pizza again though. It didn't make me sick either so they know what they're doing. I just didn't care for it.
The wait staff was very well instructed on a gluten free diet. GF pizza and focaccia was very tasty. Will definitely return.
Amazing deep dish and thin crust gluten free pizza! The best I ever had!
Absolutely amazing! They ask you who is gluten free when they seat you. they have fresh bread they put in for you right away and bring pizza out separately even labeling the boxes for take out. The pizza was AMAZING! I just spent $70 on shipping sending 2 to me in Florida!
Awesome, safe pizza. They make their dough in house on completely separate equipment (which already tells you that they are prepared and spending money on being gluten free). The pizza is cooked in the same oven, but on the upper levels with dedicated shelves. The waiter was very knowledgeable and well prepared. The deep dish Chicago Special (sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers) was absolutely delicious, and the crust is absolutely phenomenal. Absolutely come here if you get the chance! We drove 30 minutes to come here and it was worth it.
Chicago pizza was amazing! They came to the table and right away asked if anyone was gluten free and then brought out delicious bread to the table. We ordered a Gluten free dish deep that was absolutely amazing!! I felt very safe eating here with celiac disease.
Lunch at Chicago’s pizza rates as one of the best dining experiences I’ve had since diagnosed with celiac disease 14 years ago. The GF menu was extensive, the service was fabulous and the pizza...deep dish stuffed...was delicious. You can also have a custom gf pizza shipped!
This is a must have stop for Chicago. They have an extensive menu, and they can make gf on everything it seems. Vesuvio potatoes appetizer was wonderful. Very attentive and aware of gf. Deep dish pizza was wonderful with a buttery crust. They are obviously cooking all dishes and all can be adjusted.
We went to this restaurant based on the reviews I read and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. Right after sitting down the hostess asked if anyone was GF...I was shocked that is unheard of! She brought GF bread out for me...wow! The deep dish pizza was seriously delicious along with the creamy garlic dressing I had on my salad. I also recommend the chocolate cake for desert..a slice of heaven!! I had to get it to go because I was stuffed, but so worth it. Wish we had a place like this in Cleveland!
I used to live less than a block from this place, and would eat it a couple times a month. The gluten free deep dish is amazing!! Typically, I hate gf pizza, but ChicaGo knows how to do it! Their pasta dishes are also fantastic! They are very knowledgeable about gluten free and can answer any questions. Every time we go back to visit we go here so I can get a gf deep dish!
Really good stuffed crust and deep dish pizza crusts. Came out looking amazing. Tasted really good. Much love for this place. I do recommend either getting a small or sharing a medium with friends... it’s great fresh but slowly the bottom crust will turn to a more mushy consistency and won’t be great for reheating... Still one of the best deep dish GF experiences I’ve had.
My daughter and I visited this location while on a visit to Chicago to tour Loyola. I felt very comfortable after reading the various reviews on this site, but we always have a little bit of nervousness when we eat out. Our waitress brought out regular bread almost immediately sitting down. I let her know my daughter is Gluten Free and she said she would bring her some GF bread. We ordered the stuffed pizza, so we could experience real Chicago-style pizza. I did let her know my daughter has Celiac Disease and she said they would take care with our food. The pizza was very good and my daughter had zero issues after eating there. So, that's a win in my book! Highly recommend those with Celiac Disease visit this location!!!
Chicago’s Pizza is celiac heaven! They have gluten free deep dish, thin crust, calzones, pastas, and more. I’ve eaten here an embarrassing amount of times over the years, and I’ve never gotten sick (even though I’m extremely sensitive). All gluten free pizzas are now packaged in green boxes labeled “gluten free” for extra safety!
Amazing GF pizza. Yes, it isn't really thick, but it is thicker than most! Very filling! Loved there were choices in all catergories, such as apps, pasta, desserts. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Worth the uber trip to get here if you have Celiac!
Best deep dish gluten free pizza and cheesy garlic bread! It’s difficult to find gluten free options out in Me and my family went here for the first time. Service was lovely, atmosphere was quiet. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Chicago.
Amazing gluten-free deep dish pizza and calzones! If dining in, I was also brought gluten free garlic bread while waiting for my pizza. Appreciate that the staff ensures the pizza will be free from cross-contamination too. Pure heaven for someone who has Celiac Disease and can't eat gluten.
Visiting from New York and this restaurant has THE best pizza I’ve had in my eight years as a celiac. I am also dairy free so I brought cheese and they happily used my vegan cheese to make my deep dish pizza. The crust itself is delicious. My non celiac boyfriend split the pizza with me and loved it just as much. We also started with the GF garlic bread and the grilled calamari - both were incredibly yummy!! This is a must if you’re visiting Chicago!
This place is a must go for celiacs in Chicago!!! Their crust blend is probably one of the best I’ve ever come across in my travels, they use chickpea flour in it. The deep dish pizza was incredible! Took a while to make but they brought out dipping bread for me. The pizza held together and was just as good for leftovers the day after.
I wish I could give this 100 stars, because I would. A MUST have while in Chicago. First question you're asked after sitting is if anyone in the party is GF. Now that's the welcome I like! Menu states exactly what can be made GF. SOO many options. From calzones, to garlic bread, to deep dished STUFFED pizza, the options are endless. I had the GF deep dish pie and it was INCREDIBLE. Dough was great, so fresh, delicious pizza. The small pie is easy enough for two. Even the to-go boxes state 'GF' on them for the gluten free food. Thank you for the best GF experience in Chicago :)
