They also now have gluten free buns for their grilled chicken, and everything comes nicely contained with a sticker that says they guarantee nothing. Cross contamination may have occurred. My in-laws who are gluten sensitive did not have issues, so it may just be legal positing, but eat at your own risk.
So far, I've ate Grilled Nuggets, Waffle Fries, and Grilled Chicken Salad. I've haven't felt ill after eating here. This is my go to fast food place. They have a separate fryer for fries. They also use peanut oil. Just FYI.
This location did a wonderful job. Staff was knowledgeable, and flagged my order to be sure preparers changed gloves. Gluten free bun was in a sealed wrapper, and sandwich contents came in a to-go container for assembly. I did not get sick, and was pleasantly surprised by my experience.
Designated fryer for waffle fries. Grilled chicken nuggets are delicious. Gluten free bun is available for grilled chicken sandwich. Staff is willing to check on allergen questions, if they are unsure. Have eaten here multiple times without negative reaction.
I always get the grilled nuggets and waffle fries with no issues. I love the honey roasted bbq sauce. The Arnold Palmer (tea & lemonade) is very good as far as drinks go. I have also tried the grilled chicken sandwich on a GF bun with no reaction.
The saff is fairly aware about gluten allergies. They have a gluten free bun and grilled chicken that is really tasty. Gluten free fries, as well. A good option when you're on the run...
I have eaten here on many occasions and usually order their grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun (new!!) and chips instead of fries. The chicken comes out in a plastic container and the bun is sealed in a bag. I also love their salads. When I order breakfast here, I order an egg scramble with bacon and cheese and they are happy to make it special for me. (Note that I am not celiac, just gluten sensitive)
Very knowledgeable staff. Tell them that you have Celiac/gluten intolerance and they will have the cooks change their gloves. They have pre-packaged GF buns so no cross contamination there. Fries have a dedicated fryer. Have eaten here multiple times with no issues.
Haven’t had Chic Fil A in years. Confirmed that they have a dedicated fryer for french fries. The grilled nuggets are gf and they had gf buns. Staff was knowledgeable in which dipping sauces were also gf. My meal was packed separately from the rest of the order. I did not get sick after eating my meal.
AMAZING. Staff is very knowledgeable on gluten free and celiac. I ordered the gf bun with a grilled chicken sandwich. They made sure to put the chicken and lettuce and tomato in its own container and the bun was packaged so i could assemble it myself which was less stressful. And there fries are amazing
The staff said the nuggets were GF. I asked about a dedicated fryer separate from the breaded nuggets. The manager confirmed that they are GF. I tested them. They were not. The grilled nuggets tested fine. Stay away from anything fried. Get grilled nuggets or salad.
I’ve gotten several GF grilled chicken sandwiches here and they’re amazing. They serve it to you in a little container with the bun on the side, so you assemble the sandwich yourself. It’s a little frustrating the first time, but it’s so nice that they make such an effort to reduce cross contamination risk. Their GF bun is REALLY good, suspiciously good! I haven’t gotten the grilled nuggets, but those are an option, and the fries are GF as well — they have their own fryer! The superfood side is another great option. It’s easy to get a safe, well balanced meal here for a very good price and I appreciate that so much. They have an allergen list on the website so you can plan your order ahead of time and browse your choices! They do remind customers that cross contamination is always possible in their kitchen, but they take such care that I am never worried about eating here or bringing my celiac loved ones.
This location literally never has gluten free buns and every single time I go there and order they magically realize they don’t have any until after I’m all rung out and everything and they have to refund me and hold up the line. This last time I even called ahead to make sure they had them and they said yes! But nope. I’m so over it. And the girl says do you want a regular bun? Really?? I would love one but I can’t have one!!! When they do have them they are very good though and that’s why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. It’s not a chick fil a thing it’s a just this location thing.
The sandwich and nuggets horrible, couldn't eat. Over $6 for the tines little pieces. Have just have peppermint shake.
I have complete faith in getting a safe meal at Chick-Fil-A except this location. I ordered waffle fries and a gf free sandwich, but didn't check the order until after I left the store and discovered a breaded sandwich and that my ticket was not flagged for Gluten Free. When I called them about it and asked for manager I was told "sorry, they didn't know how serious you were about Gluten free", and was told I could probably still eat most of it safely!! Shocked, I told them I could eat none of it since the bread was on the fries, and was told they were sorry and offered nothing more. I contacted headquarters who informed me that each store is individually owned, but they would pass along my complaint. I heard nothing. I would avoid this restaurant when looking for a safe meal option.
I seem to do pretty well with the grilled nuggets and fries. I was told some time ago that the waffle fries have a dedicated fryer. Both Longview locations have been remodeled, so I can't remember if that was asked before or after the remodel. CFA has a GF bun that stays packaged and you order a grilled chicken and then prepare the sandwich yourself. I tried that at the Tyler Tx mall location. It was different to have the bun be room temperature, but is a nice option for those who need it. I would much rather have the breaded nuggets, but I am glad that I can get these.

Chick-fil-A offers gluten free grilled chicken nuggets and many locations have dedicated fryers for fries. Check with your location if cross-contamination is a concern for you.
