Asymptomatic Celiac

I have eaten here many times. I have found Chick-fil-A to be a very good gluten-free venue, however, If you have Celiac disease you must tell the cashier that the order is an allergy. Most places will automatically assume that GF is a diet preference and not use safe handling. They are trained in allergy handling and this is what they look for when working.

Tell them it's an allergy they take it seriously. Grilled chick sandwich or nuggets. And in most chicfilets they have dedicated fryer for those delish waffle fries, just check.

Fries at a Fast Food Restaurant? You bet! Waffle fries, chargrilled with no bun, grilled nuggets and fruit cups are safe! For breakfast, the eggs and Bacon are safe. Just tell them you're a "red flag order: allergy" and to put the bacon and eggs in a bowl!

We order the grilled chicken sandwich with the gluten free bun and fries. It tastes good and no reaction. It’s a good option when we are on the go and can’t stop for long. The mobile order lane is a great way to move along fast.

Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets with a dedicated fryer for fries and delicious grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun! You have to be careful about what sauces you might pick (I get the barbecue— not the orange looking one/ “honey barbecue”), and not all franchises have a dedicated fry frier, but the one here in Grove City does!

Staff will change gloves if asked, and gluten free bun comes in a pre-wrapped package. One of the best gluten free buns I’ve had! Separate menu is available on their website.

Sometimes when I use their app to order, they forget about adding the bun entirely. But this is definitely preferred to them adding a gluten bun! It’s also worth a note that you have to tell them you want a GRILLED chicken sandwich, otherwise they will think you want a classic (fried) chicken sandwich. The dedicated fryer is for fries only, so they can’t do fried chicken gluten free.
