Food was delicious. They even state on their menu that their chili & side (which are the sides that come with your meal) are gluten-free.

Food was great and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I have Celiac Disease so I had a lot of questions about how the food is prepared. Even though they were super busy, Tyler stopped what he was doing, and came out from behind the counter so he could point out what would be safe for me to eat. He answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. We will definitely be stopping here every visit to Tahoe!

Excellent food & reasonably priced!
I am an extremely sensitive celiac and i ate here with no problems! I ate the chicken and rib plate with rice and chili and didn’t feel sick at all. Gluten free is clearly marked. Gf buns are offered. No dedicated fryer. The meats are gf but very few sides are. Would come here again.

This is a little hole in the wall type of place. We were hesitant to go in when we arrived. There were no cars in the parking lot. However, the staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. Everything in yellow on the menu is gluten free. I had the chicken, which tasted good but was a little dry. I tried some of the pulled pork my sister had, which was perfect! Their bbq sauce has an allergen warning for wheat, although wheat is not listed in the ingredients. With the vinegar in the ingredients, it could be okay, although I didn’t try it. I had no reactions from the food, and would eat here again.

Great BBQ, got the sample platter and the chicken was my favorite. You get a ton of food too. On top of the menu board they tell which platters are gluten free and also have gluten free buns for an extra $1.

Delicious BBQ with lots of gluten free options including tacos and burgers.

There is a very clear marked menu with gluten free. The chili is gluten free. The friendly kind staff was so knowledgeable about all their food and kitchen. They don’t use a dedicated fryer for fries at this time (April 2019) but may possibly in the future. It is very safe to eat here and the chicken is second to none! As good if not better than Kauai. Thank you!!!!

Delicious! All 7 main items clearly marked GF and bbq sauce is gf. No issues for my celiac daughter and she ate everything!

Chicken in a Barrel was just ok! The chicken itself was decent, but the fries aren’t gf and it didn’t feel like there was a ton of variety. All of their rubs and sauces are gf, though. I got a house salad with chicken and ranch, and didn’t have a reaction!

I’m not sure what the uncertainty is. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination and I didn’t have an issue. Maybe I got lucky. I would check with the waitstaff to be sure, but the meats were fine for me.

Tasty bbq. The fried food isn’t gf, neither is the beef or the chili (due to the base).

All rubs are “made in a facility that also processes wheat.” (According to staff). Marked as “gluten free,” but may contain wheat. Didn’t order anything so can’t comment on the quality of the food.
