Had a great experience! They have a separate gluten sensitive menu, and my waitress also has celiac so she knew how to take care of everything. Got the crab fries and snow crab legs, both delicious!

Went for the nachos, but the waitress told me there isn’t a dedicated fryer. The food here is very pricey- I’m glad I peaked at the regular menu to check prices on crab legs before ordering them since the gf menu print out didn’t have them listed. After the rest of the table ordered I said I’m okay with just my drink and the waitress asked if it was because of gluten, and insisted that the crabbie fries were cooked separately and they were safe. I got them and they were very good. Sprinkled with old bay and had a cheese sauce on the side that was delicious, and I did not get sick. Probably won’t be back though. Their specials, like bogo crab legs, looked good though, so if you go on the right days it might be worth it

Many options available on the gluten free menu. Dedicated fryer for Crabfries & wings. Friendly staff. Server, Rick, did not hesitate to go and ask the chef specific questions. I was not made to feel like a problem with my many questions either! I ordered the Crab & Street Corn Nachos. Delicious. Although the Spicy Lime Sauce was too spicy for me. Thankfully Rick offered to have that served on the side so I was able to taste it and order a less spicy cheese sauce

Love it here! I have been many times and have always had great experiences! Occasionally in other locations I have been told they don’t not have a gluten free menu but if you just look online, there clearly is one! Everything is delicious and a variety of things to choose from! I will be sad when we move away and can’t come here anymore!
First of all, there is not a separate GF menu. The waitress was not very knowledgeable. There are very limited offerings. Very disappointed.
very good gluten free menu choices. staff is very good about cross contaminants. bone in wings, crab fries and crab are all gluten free.
Yes
Love that the crab fries are gluten free!! Also have a gluten free menu if you ask for it. Got a chicken cheesesteak and it itself is great but weird having it not on a bun and just on a plate..
Chickie's & Pete's is fun to go to and the crab fries are super good. They don't have very many food selections, though. I usually order the shrimp cocktail with no seasoning, and I fill up on the crab fries and sweet potato fries.
Don’t waste your time - lol $18 for fries with “crab seasoning” on them. The GF menu is burgers without buns or nachos. I settled with the fries (which they claim to have an individual fryer for). I’m already having issues so I don’t think that’s accurate. I wouldn’t bother. Go somewhere else!!!!!

Server was super nice and made sure my food was noted as GF. I got the crab fries and bbq wings. SOOOOO good and no reaction. I'm not celiac but hyper sensitive to gluten from EOE. It was so nice to be able to eat out and not get sick.

What a great place! The appetizer we split was HUGE! Enough for two as dinnner. We had buffalo chicken nachos. Amazing! The place was busy, the server was friendly and careful with our order. We stopped here to grab something to eat before a comedy club show. It was perfect. Lots of options for us gluten free folk! No need to worry about choices - except making one. I’m now a fan of Chickie and Pete’s and will carefully try them out in other cities as well.

I visited the Norristown PA location and they had a separate GF menu, however the bartender seemed confident that the fries were made in a separate fryer. Otherwise there is a disclosure on the GF menu that cross contamination cannot be guaranteed. It is recommended to speak to a manager prior to placing your order.
They confirmed that they have a dedicated fryer. I got the dry rub wings, which were tasty but a little on the salty side. I got the crabfries (they are gluten-free) and they were very good.
