I haven't gotten sick here but the staples are very mediocre. The beans taste and look like they just came out of a can, the rice is bland. The Chile con Carne is inconsistent in heat, but it is yummy and so are the nachos. Their salads are the best part with fresh ingredients, they are really good, but anything that can be canned is.
I've eaten here several times and I'm a fan. The food is fresh and made to order in this family-owned restaurant. They don't need a gluten-free menu, because you can ask and they'll make almost anything on the menu gluten-free! The food is very high quality at this upscale Tex-Mex place, which is the class of the category. Eat here with confidence.
