2022 Had Baby Back Ribs w/Honey Chipotle and they were quite good. The Loaded Mashed Potatoes were excellent. So far no gluten reaction. Gluten free menu online. 2014 Had chicken and steak fajitas with corn tortillas. No gluten problems, but they were heavy on the black pepper.
Chili’s has a “Gluten Friendly” menu which is great … except that 90% of the times are annotated as being cross-contaminated. In reality, there are only a handful of items that appear to be truly gluten-free. I got the Chipotle Chicken Fresh Mex Bowl without Tortilla Strips and it tasted pretty good, but I did not feel great about 2 hours after the meal. Another person in my party who is not gluten free got sick after eating here with gastrointestinal issues starting about a half hour after the meal. Based on these experiences and the general lack of cleanliness at this specific location, I don’t plan to return.
I eat here regularly without problems. They have an allergy menu that I cross reference and then I tell them to ask the kitchen staff to double check that everything is good. Steak, fish, fajitas, potatoes, all good. Just no fries or chips. You can bring your own tortilla chips to order the queso if you want though.
What i like is i have no reaction from eating here and i get fries which means they have a dedicated fryer for fries...also my typical (but not every single time) order is a burger sans bun...the wait staff needs to be paid more - sometimes they're friendly and sometimes you have to give them grace - iykyk
