Came here about 3 months ago. Lady (owner I assume) told me snd my daughter what gluten free options and I let her know about my daughters celiac disease. We got orange chicken and dumplings and my daughter ended up getting sick about 2-3 hours later. Horrible

Was a little disappointed at the number of gluten free options. After reading the reviews, I decided to ask if they could make other items on the menu gluten free. I did not ask all the questions but I didn’t feel confident that the food would be entirely GF. I got the fried rice and some noodles which didn’t turn out very good. There is not a lot of space to eat inside either.

Great food! I didn’t get sick at all (an I am super sensitive) and they were willing to make almost anything on the menu GF if you ask!

I didn't ask a million questions since it looks like it's been done on here. I did tell the waitress I was allergic gluten. Some items on the menu are marked GF and there's a not on the menu stating many items can be made GF by request. I ordered the Walnut Shrimp lunch special since everyone here raved about it. It was tasty and sweet but honestly I would have been fine just with the egg drop soup. WARNING....When she brought out the food there was an egg roll on the plate. The waitress stated she wasn't sure if it was GF or not because they're not made in house. I gave that and the broccoli it was touching to my husband. The broccoli was just barely steamed and too hard. All in all it was a good meal. I always get anxious eating out. I haven't had Chinese in over a year. I'm very grateful for restaurants that go out of their way to offer GF.

Menu is clearly marked for what is gluten free and, in speaking with the manager, it is cooked separately. Both indoor dining and takeout.

Made my order online. They called to clarify my order of what could be made gluten free. Containers were clearly marked. They were very diligent. Food was good.

We get this delivered fairly often. In addition to chop suey and other white sauce dishes that are gf, there is this walnut shrimp thing that’s actually insane. We cant seem to place an order without the walnut shrimp. Highly recommend, have never been sick the whole covid shutdown ordering delivery from these guys. I hv celiac.

When I was a kid I literally came here every Wednesday for lunch, so much so that I got my picture on the wall. But when I became GF I was devastated that I could no longer eat my favorite Chinese food...BUT Now I can!!!!!! Their menu specifies what is GF. The honey walnut shrimp just melts in your mouth. I’m so excited to be able to eat at China Chef again!
called and spoke to the manager Bob. He said everyone that works there is aware of gluten free celiac.
Yes
Great Chinese good and a few good gf selections! If Chinese restraints only used corn starch everything could be gf!
