My friends love going here. It's really easy to get a burrito bowl. Idk if the guacamole is gf but it gave me a stomachache. But generally the food here is pretty good

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions. From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

So here is the thing. When I was standing in line, I saw them scoop rice from the bowl and repeatedly touch the spoon against a wheat tortilla then put it back in the rice bowl. This continued for the meats and the beans. So when I was up to order, I asked that they take my food from new containers in the kitchen. They said that their allergy protocol was to change gloves, wipe the counter down and bring new containers of cheese and lettuce. I let them know that the rice, meat, and beans were all contaminated because the spoon kept touching wheat. They still said no. I talked to a manager who finally relented. I emailed Chipotle and they apologized and said that the restaurant should have honored my request. I think Chipotle is safe for Celiacs if food is taken from new containers. If not, it is not safe

There are no GF items marked & and internet says that ALL Chipotle locations are celiac free. I fell safe and Chipotle should be intentional about publishing a GF menu to get a higher rating.

The only gluten containing ingredients are the tortillas. Corn products may be cross contaminated in the fields, but are otherwise considered gluten free. Staff will change gloves if you tell them you have an allergy and need it. Easy way to eat gluten free and perfect for Celiac.

My son and wife are gluten free (intolerant not allergic) and this is their favorite go to for a chipotle bowl that won’t make them sick!

I started my order saying I had celiac. The server immediately changed his gloves and called for fresh lettuce & cheese( as they reach in those containers with their gloved hands.) Without my needing to ask. I had no cross contamination issues. I will be back!

This location is really good about changing gloves, spoons, and anything else you need. You just have to ask. I’m very sensitive and so far have not had any trouble. It is still fast food-y so I’m not sure I can put 100% celiac friendly but so far so good for me

I come here very often!! The servers are always so friendly. As soon as you tell them you have an allergy they wash their hands, change their gloves, and take out new containers of food to avoid contamination. I have never gotten sick here and the food is delicious!

Staff used unopened containers and changed gloves for me. She also went out of her way to double-check that sofritas were gluten-free!

The daytime team is exceptional for their food handling skills. Plus they know their customers, most team members are already changing their gloves when I walk through the door. Out of 50+ visits in the last couple years, I had cross contamination once.

Everything is safe here except the flour tortillas according to their website. I order their bowls all the time and I have never been sick.

I always get sick eating here or any other chipotle...They dont understand when I ask them to change their gloves and get fresh food from the back that hasn't been cross contaminated. They dont listen and dont want to change from their usual routine...I always get sick at this chipotle, will never go back!!!

Have been frequenting this place for a while, without issue but unfortunately in our last take out, got cross contaminated.

The staff is knowledgeable about gluten free & offers great, friendly service! Basically everything there is gluten free except for the soft tortillas. So if you need gluten free, I highly recommend! I eat there regular with no issues.

The staff at this location were amazing. I told the girl I had a gluten allergy (it’s easier than explaining celiac sometimes) and she immediately changed her gloves. I ask if the hard shell corn tacos were gluten free and she confirmed with the cook that they are. I requested ‘fresh toppings’ from the back (because I wasn’t sure about cross contact with the spoons) and she had no issues with doing that. The cook also cut fresh chicken that hadn’t been touched for mine. It was delicious and safe and I really appreciated the extra efforts they made!

I revisit this Chipotle about once a year to see if they have improved. They haven’t. Cross contamination everywhere, stingy with toppings, and willing to overcharge you simply because hitting one button is easier than 3. Other Chipotles are great; skip this one.

Amazing food; it IS a Chipotle after all. Gluten free chips, they will change their gloves for you too. However, the person doing my bowl seemed slightly annoyed with me.

I usually get a chicken or carnitas bowl, got a veggie bowl-(lettuce, half of brown and white rice, little bit of black beans, mild salsa, and guacamole) instead now that I'm on a gluten-free diet. Didn't want to risk cross-contamination with the meat. I cooked me some salmon once I got home. Told the server I was gluten-free. As I was telling her this, I also told her how to prepare my order, she immediately changed gloves and grabbed a bowel from underneath the counter. I felt perfectly fine last night after eating my meal, and feel great this morning. No symptoms at all.

Gluten free if you dont eat the flour totillas, I checked and had the burrito bowl to be on the safe side. This is sort of fastfood takeaway chain type Mexican, so we were a little disappointed but we are Aust so maybe locals know. Not bad. Quick and tasty for fast food. Veggie bowl, chicken burrito (hubby) and two small sodas ( in Aust we would call these medications to large) cost USD20.30.

I wound up not eating here because they would have had to change out every bin of food. The spoons touched every tortilla that went through making everything contaminated. What a bummer!

Staff was very knowledgeable and acommodating. Everything except their Tortillas are GF. When I told them about my Celiacs they made arrangements, changed their gloves and actually got new spoons for all of the items that I got so that the risk of cross contamination was as small as possible.

Helped me out when I was first diagnosed. Burrito bowls and salad both are gf if you talk to the staff about it. Also they have crispy corn tortillas if they are out of chips which are gf. Never gotten sick but not 100% gf facility

Knowledgeable staff! They changed their gloves, cleaned the work space and even pulled out fresh ingredients and utensils to make my food since the ones on the line could be contaminated.

Get the bowl, I always get the veggie bowl though. I’m not 100% on the meats since I need to try it on a day when I can see if I get sick or not. Avoid the lettuce, they grab that with their gloves that have touched the flour tortillas so I imagine it’s cross contaminated.

The first time I went the staff member I got seemed knowledgeable. They washed their hands, changed gloves and got me fresh cheese. The second time I went I got a different staff member who didn’t seem to understand what gluten free meant and made my bowl like everyone else’s. I knew what I could have and couldn’t so I felt fine afterwards. Just a warning to watch for potential glove cross contamination with some staff.

Staff is very knowledgeable and can change gloves upon request. The utensil are slightly cross contaminated because they touch the burritos. If you are SUPER sensitive you can request them to get food straight from the kitchen.

I have Celiac Disease and have had wonderful luck with Chipotle. I recommend the following procedure: immediately tell whoever is prepping your food that you have celiac disease. Typically they will automatically go and change their gloves and follow you down the line. However, if they seem unsure just explain this is what you need. Also, once they change their gloves tell them you will need fresh ingredients that have not been touched with any potentially contaminated gloves. They are always extremely happy to do this and seem to be well trained in this. It is so appreciated as eating out can cause so much anxiety! Chipotle has become a well trusted place for me. (As long as you remember to be clear with your needs!)

One individual was knowledable of the procedures she changed gloves and wiped down the prep table but then as she was doing that thebother workers just started serving others with tortillas over where it was wiped down. It was kinda downhill from there same utensils used from same existing food dishes. Needless to say i feel bad for this review but chipotle wither has to say they do jot serve celiacs or train their employees better
