We used to have a favorite crew, but they have mostly all moved on. That said, Chipotle is a great place to eat with a gluten allergy as they can take precautions to prepare your food as safely as possible - as long as you ask them as soon as you get to the counter. They will put on new gloves - and they will even swap out utensils if you need them to do so. And the only food items you cannot really have is flour tortillas from here. *Please note, however, as with anywhere in public, some employees are more knowledgeable than others, and there is STILL a risk of cross-contamination. I am highly allergic, but have rarely if ever had an issue at this location...and I can watch them carefully through the glass to educate if necessary.
**New app will allow you to order easily - but there is no way to indicate a gluten allergy. I've ordered and then called immediately to make sure that they add a note to the ticket - they know us, and they have taken great care of us.
Yes
One of the limited places we can eat due to my husband having to always eat gluten free. He has never had a problem with cross contamination here and the food is great. I also love the food which is a plus!
Yes
Awesome service! Changed gloves, used different tongs, everything is gluten free except for the floor tortillas.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Pretty good for fast food, but not sure I trust them to not cross contaminate.
Go there weekly.. I have never been sick from eating here. I get a bowl with chicken and all the fixings!! I can usually save half the bowl for later bc it's so much food!!
not a single person working when I are there today understood GF food prep. never heard of it they said. had to convince the prep person to change gloves.
One of the best places to eat GF and actually feel full! I recommend a steak bowl with avocados.
Precautions are taken seriously! When I stated my restrictions, the servers changed gloves and utensils, and even pulled new containers of cheese, guacamole, etc for me. All menu items are GF except the flour tortillas. I felt completely safe, and of course the food was delicious.

After reading reviews of the safety precautions They take I chose to try them out. I watched him make burritos for the people in front of me. The utensils were touching the wrap. When I told him we had a celiac in our group he washed his hands and changed gloves and got out fresh containers of lettuce and cheese but then was about to scoop the meat with the spoon that was just touching the wrap and from the same container. When I asked him to use clean items he said they don't have extra serving spoons and don't have extra containers of anything but the lettuce and cheese. My boys and I left without eating there.

Had a good experience here, younger staff did not seem to know allergy protocol but asked a more experienced person who came over and assembled my meal. She actually had celiac herself so I felt at ease. Wiped down counter, changed gloves, used fresh lettuce, even put foil under my bowl as an extra precaution. No reaction! Yay.
This experience was 4 stars out of 5 because some staff did not seem trained in allergen protocols. Also, heads up, this location uses paper straws (which I’ve heard can contain gluten) so steer clear.

Our family has eaten here many (perhaps dozens) of times and there have been no reactions. This applies to either dine-in or take-out. They will change gloves and utensils.
However, their service is hit and miss when you go through DoorDash.

I usually love Chipotle, but this location seems to have issues. I’ve gotten sick the last two times I’ve eaten here. Aside from cross contact, this location also just doesn’t have as good of food as other ones.
