No precautions taken at all. If you wait in line and watch them, it’s basically gluten city. Asking them to change gloves (or put some on because they often don’t wear any) is irrelevant because they touch the flour tortillas with all utensils and allow everything to contact other items. Frequently they’ll overfill and put an ingredient BACK in the tray. So there’s massive x-contamination. DANGER!

The place is good, but not for a celiac. Cross contamination occurred and i got bad for 2 days.
No
Not for the super sensitive. No matter which location, even when we ask them to change gloves, super sensitive Celiac hubby always reacts. Always. I think it might just be from them touching the flour tortillas with the serving utensils while making burritos & then sticking those utensils back into the beans, rice, etc. Also, for those who are soy sensitive the last I checked they use soy oil on EVERYTHING. And they won't confirm if their corn or soy is non-GMO. We don't eat here anymore.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Very accommodating when I asked: fresh ingredients, good food
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.
