I have celiac and can order the rice bowel with beans, guacamole, chicken and black beans with no problems. They change gloves as well.
Have eaten there a few times with my son, who has celiac. They are courteous about washing hands and changing gloves when asked. He has never had a reaction after eating there. I ate at this location once without my son, and saw the server scrape rice off a tortilla back into the serving dish when a customer requested the other type of rice - made me worried about the potential for cross contamination even with the precautions taken.
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
There were options on the website, however, the particular server I had did not offer to give me corn tortillas and I had to get a bowl instead. He was kind of bratty if we are being honest

I used the online menu so I would know what was GF. I ate a bowl with the cilantro rice, steak beef, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. The staff really didn’t seem like they knew what gluten free meant but maybe they did 🤷🏻♀. I didn’t get sick.

This was literally the worst experience I’ve had at Chipotle, ever. Normally the ones I’ve been to have knowledge of changing out spoons and washing hands and no one on the staff had any idea what they were doing. I try to explain several times but finally gave up when I realize they weren’t understanding and there was a huge line behind me. I would never recommend this chipotle to anyone who had a gluten sensitivity or allergy.
