Very impressed with the staff! When I asked to have the gloves changed, they also switched out all the spoons and one person completed our order. The entire staff was VERY knowledgable about celiac and what to avoid.

Chipotle is always safe. Only the tortillas have gluten - which means you can order the same food as almost everyone else.

I’ve eaten at plenty of Chipotle restaurants before, including this one, and can’t remember ever feeling bad afterwards. My son-in-law picked up our order, 8 - 10 minutes away and brought it home. The three orders were entered on our phone mobile app so we know we asked for certain ingredients. Their carelessness in fulfilling my ingredient order, and since I got sick doesn’t seem to be a coincidence. The 3 Oval bowls were kind of disgusting to look at. One order asked for extra veggies,...nope. But one order asked for a little sour cream. Instead, it was a sour cream soup. The food didn’t taste wrong, but it’s easy to image cross contamination by specific worker. I’m a fan of Chipotle and this won’t scare me off. I would advise to listen to that little Alarm in your head that says Leave!

Gave me an allergy chart as soon as I mentioned having Celiacs. Just the flour tortillas have gluten in them. I usually opt for the bowl anyway. There is a disclaimer that there could be cross contamination in corn salsa and corn chips from being in field. They also changed their gloves before I even asked.

My husband got a few tacos and when tested came back contains gluten on the Nima test. The employee that helped us didn't seem to care when we said we had a gluten allergy. Definitely will not be coming back to this location. Other locations take extra precautions when preparing food for us.

We eat here frequently. Let them know you have a gluten allergy. They will wash their hands and change gloves. Ask them to wipe down the counter and change utensils. Get fresh ANYTHING that is dispensed with hands (lettuce, cheese, etc). 95% of the time we eat here we are fine. There are always one-off misfires but that’s par for the course.

I worked at Chipotle for two years. I know the proper protocol for the gluten free customers. Sadly, this store, with the exception of a single employee who is very thorough, does not follow it. And they are often rude about it, or disregard blatant requests/instructions regarding celiac-safe preparation. I get sick about 50% of the time I eat here. This is also because there is a lot of cross-contamination since employees often touch the flour tortilla with the rice/bean/meat spoon, and then return it to the food product. When the employee who follows protocol is there, I eat there. If he isn't there, I leave.

Very impressed with how well they followed whatever protocol chipotle has in place. My sister and I ordered 3 bowls gluten free (celiacs), and we didn’t even need to specify allergy or celiac before they switched gloves, spoons, got fresh ingredients, and even prepped food on the back counter. I was impressed especially with how busy they get.

I'll never trust Chipotle. I've seen good reviews and tried it and already been very sick. Even if they change their gloves and clean the with area, they are taking from food bins that you can watch them drag wheat tortillas over, and spinning food into tortillas, rubbing the spoon in the what and putting it back into the topping tub. Unless they adopt a protocol of making glutrn free from the bulk instead of the line, and have all employees trained, it's not worth the risk.

Dirty! And though we asked them to re-glove and clean the line, they only re-gloved. I had to explain to staff that our cheese, guac and lettuce needed to come from the back, according to Chipotle's allergy policy for cross contamination and other staff harassed her for doing it. They couldn't even properly roll a burrito for the one non-celiac person in our party, tortilla didn't close and exploded contents all over the place. I know we will probably be sick before we get home.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions. From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
