Literally the dirtiest chipotle I’ve ever been in. I watched the employee touch every single food item with her gloves as she scooped and served so I can confidently say this isn’t a celiac safe place. Especially if this is the training standard as well. I just got chips to eat with my fiance because I know they’re prepared gluten free from previous employment experience.
I ordered chips and guacamole and asked if they could scoop my guacamole from a fresh container to prevent cross contamination. Initially the young man agreed but then an older gentleman who was his boss raised his voice and refused. I did not want to risk getting sick so did not eat here. The older man raising his voice was rude and embarrassing.
Everything on Chipotle's menu is gluten free, except for their flour tortilla. All of their meat is safe, as well as all of their add-ins. When I go, I ask for them to change gloves, and they are always friendly about it.
I usually get hard tacos or a bowl, so they prep everything in the clean bowl, not on contaminated surfaces. I have never had any cross contamination issues.
