Standard excellent Chipotle service: clean gloves, line wipe, and reserve lettuce. Love it! (Food is good too)
This place is great! My brother who has severe celiac has never gotten sick here and they always change their gloves and wipe down the counter immediately. Their service is great and my brother and I love the tacos and bowls! This location is probably the best one I've been to.
Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was at the end of a long line that included a volleyball team. At my turn I told the guy that I had two "allergy" orders (easier than explaining Celiac) and it was as if an alarm bell went off. Counters wiped down, the entire line changed their gloves, and new/clean cheese, sour cream and lettuce were brought out. I was very happy with the whole experience and the food was delicious!
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Very friendly. Stopped everything to wipe down all the counters. They changed all of the serving spoons, and everyone on the line changed their gloves.
Slowest sloppiest most careless Chipotle ever. Took 45 minutes to get 2 bowls ready after we arrived to pick up our online order. Cross contamination and all uneducated clueless kids working everywhere behind the counter. Cheese in the bottom of the guacamole. Chicken and pork in my steak bowl. No care of mixing utensils or knowledge of basic food handling protocols let alone actual allergy knowledge or safety.
— Not at all
I asked that gloves be changed because of my celiac. The woman behind the counter asked everyone in the restaurant to change gloves, then had the cook get a new spatula, sanitize the grill & cook me fresh chicken. Then she used all fresh ingredients & new utensils for every item I added to my bowl. The best experience I've ever had
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Super tasty! Good for dairy free also. Friendly allergen app.
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
I have two kids with celiac so I had to ask them to change their gloves. They were polite and I could tell there was a protocol in place for celiac. Both people on the line went and changed gloves and washed their hands before preparing our food.
I’ve been to several different Chipotle locations and have been satisfied with the precautions made for GF. This location is the exception. The staff’s knowledge about procedures for preventing cross-contact was nonexistent. The front line food assemblers were using gloved hands to scoop out food for the burritos and bowls. When I asked for toppings to be taken from new containers not on the front line (lettuce, cheese), I was told it was all good since the one person attending to my order had changed gloves (even though the guy next to him was using his gloved hands to put food on a flour wrap and then roll it up!) Awful place, don’t put yourself in danger of cross-contamination here!
