Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Delicious Chipotle as always. They're very careful in changing their gloves and I've never gotten sick from cross-contamination.
I eat here all the time and have never gotten sick, just ask them to change their gloves :)

Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants in my town. I was diagnosed with celiac disease at the age of 4 and have struggled my entire life to find good safe places for me to eat. Some people say that Chipotle is a high risk of getting glutened. But that has not been my experience at all. Whenever I go I always say hey I have a gluten allergy just so you know. I get my bowl and it is so good. I eat at chipotle almost once a month and in all of my times going I have never gotten sick.

Will not step foot into this location again. The staff is disrespectful and does not understand gluten free. I tried to take the time to explain how to make a burrito bowl safe. The restaurant wasn’t busy. I was ridiculed and mocked by the workers. The girl working rolled her eyes and said they aren’t the health department. They were laughing and talking about how it’s not their job to make accommodations. I ended up walking out. On top of the attitude, this location was dirty and the workers were touching their face, hair, each other with their gloves. The food in the bins were mixed together and it was complete chaos.

They were super nice and helpful. The girl taking my order also has celiac and she pulled cheese from a different container (also did this the second time I went, using a little cup). They had no problem changing gloves (they also washed hands). One time the lady offered to change spoons (I don't know if that would make a big difference but was nice to know she offered). The two items I was concerned about were cheese (which they pulled new) and lettuce. I didn't get lettuce but I am sure they would pull new lettuce if asked (since those items they reach in for with hands after touching flour tortillas). Also she said chips were GF since they aren't fried with anything else.

Hands that are wrapping flour tortillas are constantly being dipped into the shredded cheese and shredded lettuce so unless you don’t order those items there is risk of cross-contamination. Too bad they don’t use tongs.
