Chipotle has almost an entirely gluten free menu except for their flour tortillas. Apart from asking the server to change gloves, Chipotle is one of the safest places to eat…most of the food is naturally gluten free. I’m disappointed to see other people rating it so poorly and I wish more information was given. Do your research…the online menu is 99% gluten free.

Not good with cross contamination. Staff isn’t well trained. I literally saw a server dump rice from a burrito back into the container because she put too much. Not safe for celiacs

Chipotle ALWAYS gets it right! They wash hands, change gloves, switch utensils, & inform all of the staff down the line! They’re the best & ROCK SOLID for a celiac, especially during travel!
Corn based & fantastic! The only flour in the kitchen is the large burrito wraps, all else is GF!
Eating here is 100% safe, 100% of the time🔥

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
This branch seems to not do as good of a job on honoring gluten allergy requests on to go orders.

I’m Celiac and eat her at least twice a week, safely! The staff looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language when I said Celiac, but as soon as I said “wheat allergy”, staff knew exactly what to do- they took off their gloves, washed their hands, changed out all spoons, and grabbed my shredded cheese from an entirely new container that had not been touched. They were very understanding as well! Very thankful for this place!!
Yes
They went through the line with me, changed all the spoons, and changed their gloves. Very small chance of cross-contamination and VERY understanding.

I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.
