Don't do it.
I ate lunch there last Sun and was sick all day and night into Monday.
I told them I had a gluten allergy and ordered a Burrito Bowl with chicken.
She changed her gloves, but then preceded to use the same bins and the same spoons to serve my ingredients. At the end, a different server with glutened gloves put the lid on my bowl.
They clearly had no clue.
I'm newly diagnosed with celiac and thought I'd be fine; I was very wrong. Never again.
Bathroom was really filthy

You can choose which items you want in your burrito bowl or salad. The food is made in front of you.

Staff knew how to prevent cross contamination and treated us kindly. Gluten free kids meals too!

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
I have to say thia is the best chipotle I have ever been to in regards to knowledgeable, and friendly staff. I'm really pleased with the fact that both times I went in was so easy... as soon as I mentioned that we were celiacs the first girl changed her gloves without my having to ask, and compassionately asked if we wanted a counter wipe down as well. The second time, (a different girl) I asked for a glove change, and she was very quick to change her gloves, and washed her hands as well. I have been to many chipotles around california, and often its been a stressful deal to have to explain that I am sensitive to the touch as well. These young ladies were a breath of fresh air.

Good lunch food. Never gotten sick and eaten there many times!!! You do have to watch though because some of the workers aren't familiar with what to do. Request that they change their gloves and use aluminum foil to heat your tortillas on the press.
Love the food very celiac friendly!!!

Have eaten here several times. Food is always fresh and delicious. We eat at Chipotle quite a bit at different locations and states and it is always consistently great quality food. We are gluten and dairy free.
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.
