None of the staff seemed to know what celiac disease was. They didn’t know to change gloves, or why we needed fresh lettuce. Our 2 girls have Celiac so I explained and they were willing to change gloves and get us some “salad lettuce” since all of there lettuce containers had had employees hands in them with potential cross contamination. The one employee that new where uncontaminated lettuce was started to leave and the other guy was getting the wrong lettuce. I would NOT recommend eating here if you have celiac disease!!
No
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
There were options on the website, however, the particular server I had did not offer to give me corn tortillas and I had to get a bowl instead. He was kind of bratty if we are being honest

I used the online menu so I would know what was GF. I ate a bowl with the cilantro rice, steak beef, pinto beans, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. The staff really didn’t seem like they knew what gluten free meant but maybe they did 🤷🏻♀. I didn’t get sick.

This was literally the worst experience I’ve had at Chipotle, ever. Normally the ones I’ve been to have knowledge of changing out spoons and washing hands and no one on the staff had any idea what they were doing. I try to explain several times but finally gave up when I realize they weren’t understanding and there was a huge line behind me. I would never recommend this chipotle to anyone who had a gluten sensitivity or allergy.
