They’ve definitely gone downhill. Last time I got their food, it wasn’t very good (dry chicken, missing ingredients) and I was sick afterwards for several days. Can no longer recommend

The staff always does an excellent job changing workspaces and gloves, but I've eaten at 3 different chipotles and every time my stomach gets a severely sharp pain after eating. I'm not usually that sensitive, but it's the truth.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Great food! The staff changes their gloves as to not contaminate the corn tortillas. They will also get fresh cheese and fresh lettuce from the back since other staff members put their glutened gloves into the container. Staff is always accommodating and friendly even though we usually slow down the line!
Yes
Great awareness of gluten allergies. The server immediately changed his gloves when my husband shared his gluten allergy and asked a co worker to get fresh food from the back to prevent cross contamination issues.
Yes
We tried to here with my celiac cousin and they said they could change gloves and change the spoons but they didn't understand that changing the spoons didn't make the food safe because off cross contamination. The manager wasn't even willing to get safe food from the back.
The server was clueless. I had to ask twice for him to change his gloves. The rest of the staff were better.....
Burrito bowls ( no tortilla, just rice with plethora of choices for toppings) are an awesome safe bet for celiacs. My celiac son loves them.
Really good food. Check online for chain-wide gluten-free choices including hard shell corn tortillas.
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
