Low quality food, dirty dining area, seemed short staffed. It’s never been great, but it used to be okay in a pinch. They’ve since changed their GF bread. The new bread is not good. They don’t ask if you have an allergy when you say GF, you have to say so. Overall, all the food tastes like it’s reheated from frozen and then a day old. The chicken is rubbery and seems… not right. I used to feel okay eating here because they do take precautions to change gloves, wrap the sandwich before using the panini press, etc, but at this point, I don’t feel comfortable eating here because the ingredients upset my stomach - and not in the way cross contamination with gluten does. Plus, the new GF bread is bad. The environment is bad. They have a line through the middle of the restaurant, there aren’t enough seats. Everything is dirty: tables, chairs, floors. You name it. I left smelling like the restaurant - and definitely not in a good way. The windows were steams over and it was smoky inside. The staff were nice.
The gluten free bread that they use on their sandwiches is absolutely incredible. It even looked better than the regular bread! They were able to wrap the sandwiches in foil to prevent cross contamination in the panini press too. Almost (if not all) of their chocolate truffles are gluten free too!
Great sandwiches and grilled cheeses! They offer GF bread and sides are chips or fruit. Also serve basic coffee/latte drinks. There's a small patio to enjoy getting out in the sunshine. Staff are nice and the owner is super friendly.
