Churrasqueira La Morena BBQ

Everything except the empanadas are gluten free but no dedicated fryer. The BBQ chicken was excellent, ribs too salty for me and a bit dry. Portions were large. We split the 1/2 chicken, 1/2 ribs and still had leftovers - came with fries (couldn't eat) and loads of rice. Good deal and the Raw Winery next door has great gluten free wine and cider!

My ribs were rubbery and tasteless (unless you count "greasy" as a taste). My daughter and husband had pretty good meals but they weren't gf. Specifically was told the fryer was shared but the fries were the most palatable part of the meal, so we'll see how much punishment my body will deal me tomorrow.

Tried the tacos...which are on flat round corn tortillas. Got a beef,chicken and pork. They were so flavorful. I'll def come back

I had the garlic chicken with yellow rice. The chicken was overcooked and tough, the sauce was only ok. My husband had the ribs with beans and rice the ribs were big but tough and fatty, the flavor was bland. The tortilla chips were from a bag, nothing special. I would not go here again

When seated we asked for a gluten free menu and from there on the waiter took great care of us. He was fairly knowledgeable and when he didn’t know about an item he asked the chef. He also double checked our choices with the chef before preparation. I had the pulled pork bbq without a bun and beans instead of the fries and my husband had the octopus salad. The food was excellent and the waiter was awesome!

Good food in a nice part of town. GF marked on menu. Reasonable prices. Good service. No GF fryer. Would go back.

My favorites here are the shrimp in garlic sauce and the chicken with yellow rice. Most of the menu items are gluten free and those that aren’t are clearly marked. Food is always fresh and delicious!
