The managers and staff prefer to come to the table to give options for GF menu items and make it more personal rather than offer a preprinted menu. The enchiladas are made fresh everyday and are gluten free. If there's a possibility of cross contaminating they will clean off the kamal to prepare your corn Tortillas special for you. The Chips are complementary and are completely Gluten free along with their Creamy jalapeño dip!

Basically nothing at any Chuy’s is gluten free. Even their tortilla chips are fried in a shared fryer. They marinate all their meat in beer. If you have celiac, best steer clear.

The staff did not even try to help me find something gluten free. We ended up leaving the restaurant. Very disappointed because so many locals suggested we eat there. The queso isn’t even gluten free!!! What kind of Satan’s den is that?!?

Fantastic experience at Chuy’s. The manager and majority of the staff were very knowledgeable on what items are gluten free items! Their chips are made in a dedicated fryer. And corn tortillas are gluten free. Staff was so kind to let me know all the gluten free sauces that were options. Their fajita meat is not gluten free. I had the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas and they were delicious. No cross contamination and I feel great after my meal. I’m making Chuy’s my permanent Mexican food spot in OKC!

Even though they have a GF menu, they will not guarantee it will actually be GF. All their meat proteins have gluten - from the marinade. The chips are not GF either. Very disappointing.

The GM was extremely knowledgeable about the processes and cross contamination! Chips at this location are celiac safe, boom boom sauce, and jalapeno ranch as well!

A classic Tex Mex chain so you can expect the quality to be subpar. The manager was very accommodating and confirmed they had a dedicated fryer for only corn. However, they did have to check on a lot with the previous manager to ensure GF items. I got the chicken flautas with roasted chicken. While my typical reaction of ataxia did not kick in, I did leave feeling somewhat symptomatic: light headed, hot/cold flashes, weak on my feet etc. I think I may have been exposed in some capacity.
Be aware: marinated meat is cooked in beer, queso has gluten, Mexican rice is fried in gluten fryer, and chips are cross contaminated.

If you have celiac DONT DO IT! Let me be a cautionary tale to those with any kind of gluten sensitivity. I have celiac and am currently in the worst pain of my life from eating here.
